My first trip to Spinners. The good: chill, urban/hip hop vibe, Cajun influenced menu. Clean restaurant.

I came here for the turkey legs. They arent stuffed, but you get either dirty rice or mac and cheese covering it. Mine was the seafood (which was crawfish tails) Mac snd cheese turkey leg. The flavor was wonderful! Chips and salsa were GREAT! Staff was very friendly and you can tell they care about the product they serve.

The bad: There were two people there when my buddy and I arrived. We waited about 25 mins for our entrees. I expected them to be hot. They werent. The Mac and cheese was luke warm for a minute and by the time I had taken 3 bites, it was room temperature. The mac and cheese was not moist either. It was with overcooked or old. It tasted fine. I never mind waiting for fresh food - the Mac snd cheese shoulda been hot. My server did insist on bringing me more but I wouldn't allow it - I didn't wanna make a BIG deal out of it but next time it best be hot.

I cannot wait to go back!

EDIT: Been a few times. Don't go here for anything but the turkey legs!

I've gotten the fried fish meal that comes with fries. One fairly small pc of fish. Overpriced really.

I heard they have 70¢ chicken wings on Mondays and Tuesdays (?) So me and a couple friends came for that. I ordered 10 plain and 10 BBQ. The BBQ was decent, the plain have zero flavor at all. No salt, no pepper. Nothing. Thankfully I ordered bleu cheese dressing to dip them in. Um except the small container that the bleu cheese dressing can in was only half full and it was $1 extra. And they confirmed that this was correct. Hell I was offended. Cheap wings are one thing. But the gouging was too...

We had never been to Spinners before, but we’lI never go back after the poor customer service experience. While waiting in a huge line at Whataburger, a lady approached us with a menu and claim of no wait. We’re always willing to try something new, and the menu looked good. Even more impressed she walked down the road seemingly to help folks out with the lack of restraints open. Big mistake!

The place was small, but did have free tables. We stood at the counter a good 5 minutes before the staff member at the bar even acknowledged us. She seemed pleasant enough once she finally took our order, so we let it go.

Order was placed at 6:07pm, (time stamped on receipt) and after an hour of waiting with zero communication about the status of our food, we went back to the register to request our money back. Conveniently, as we were waiting for the gentleman to process the refund, they brought the food out, and staff seemed confused rather than apologetic that we were still refusing it. Had someone at least communicated a slow wait or status at some point during that hour, we might have had additional patience. Worse, not 1 of the 3 staff we interacted with offered any type of apology.

So what initially started as a very impressive enterprising opportunity, ultimately turned into a complete dud in execution. We most likely could have remained in line at the drive thru, gotten home, and finished eating; in less time than we wasted waiting on this...

Called a week in advance to see if I could make reservations for a group of 15-20 people for a Saturday night for my bday. Spoke with Bri and she said that I could do it…she took my info down and said to give her a call back a day or two in advance to confirm. I called back on Thursday and spoke with Bri again to confirm for Saturday with all the same details. She assured me that she had taken down my reservation and would provide me with two tables for my group. I saw on the website that the kitchen closed at 10 so I asked her if my group would be able to still order food since we were coming at 1030 pm and again she assured me we would because they stay open til 2am. Saturday night my friends and I drive all the way from Killeen just for Bri to say that they don’t do reservations and she never spoke with me about any reservations and they they had their own party going on so there were no available tables. She tried to act like both conversations with me never happened. We were looking forward to spending the night there but the lack of honesty and professionalism from Bri was ridiculous. We ended up going to Dave and Busters so we were overdressed but luckily we were able to get a table to accommodate us even with such a huge busy night. I will never patronize Spinners again due to the poor customer service at such an expensive place with...

$16 for for a catfish platter(what it's called on the menu) it literally came with one piece catfish. And a few fries. I expressed my disappointment with the owner and was met with excuses and no attempt to make the situation better. The shrimp boil was like a dollar more than the catfish and came with more food. But sadly wasn't that good either. The shrimp were small. The potatoes tasted old and the dish was entirely to salty. It wasn't even tossed in the sauce they just threw the seasoning on top. Last although I know there is a wing shortage. If you can't get quality wings then take it off the menu. These wings were dry and you could tell they were the frozen pre sauced wings that were fried then tossed in another sauce to try and cover up the sauce before. Overall I was extremely disappointed in my meal and although I'll come back for drinks I will not be ordering food from here. If you coming for an event. Eat first.

I forgot to take photos of everything that we got to eat, but I did take one of the fries deviled eggs. I will say, for the price, we kind of thought that we would get more than just four halves, but they were delicious. We also got the queso which was also pretty good, but you got to eat it quick because when it starts to cool down, it gets pretty thick. My husband got shrimp and I got crab. They were delicious, but next time we go, I’ll probably get the butter sauce on the side. Eating crab is already messy and having the butter sauce poured all over it was even more messy. Not only was the food good, but for there just being one server who also doubled as the bartender the service was great. Our drinks never went empty before she asked if we needed a new one. I wish I caught her name because she was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back!

Spinners puts an interesting twist on the turkey leg by smoking them and then topping them off with various side items. The top one is their Shrimp Alfredo & Garlic Rice and the bottom one is their Cajun Mac & Cheese. You can't go wrong with either, just depends if you want something more rich and creamy or something cheesy and zesty. What I like about both is that they come with their Spinners Glaze which is a sweet glaze made of Hennessey!!! Sooo good. Additionally, they FALL OF THE BONE!! I've never seen that before! That's how tender they are. These cost $20-$22 depending which on which one you get and are very filling! You honestly could split one with somebody. All in all, I wish I could give them a 3.5/5 for being good! But sadly I just round down.
