Agerage. Older, once hip-ish facility is now showing signs of aging. Wallpaper was peeling in room. Once bright lobby armchairs are starting to darken. Mostly clean with a few ew factors. Tiles missing in bathroom exposing rust & there was mold/mildew present. Shower floor was clean but had unpleasant stains. Unremarkable bed - slightly on the uncomfortable side. Free breakfast was surprisingly good with a wide variety of options. Decent free wifi. Friendly staff. No restaurants or amenities within walking distance so you'll need to have a car or be ready to Uber/Lyft for everything. I would look for other places the next time I'm in town but would stay again if it was the only option.

In response to your claim that you have no record of me staying there: Because I booked under the name on my ID, not my public profile (Irelan is my maiden name). I have charges on my statement (including two pre-authorizations for the entire price of my booking which has already been paid and a $115 deposit that are still there and pending nearly a month later), receipts and an itinerary from my booking site that says I was there, and I have pictures of inside the room. The room had other people's hair and snot in the shower and on the towel bar, and I found some sort of bug in the shower ALIVE on day two.

Great value for the price! Check-in was quick and easy - we were able to pick our floor selection. The room was clean and ready to go. Breakfast is the usual buffet style - eggs, sausage, some cereal, toast, yogurt, etc. (and of course, Texas shaped waffles!) It did change some from one day to the next, so that was nice. Our room only had a shower stall - no tub. The TV did not have an HDMI connection - we had brought our laptop to watch movies but couldn't connect to the TV. The indoor pool water was clear. Overall, the hotel had everything we needed for this stay.

Not surprised GM Shan Patel used this platform as a sounding board to lie and create a canard after responding my review.||||I stayed at this hotel 8 times in 56 days and not valued for my loyalty. I was forced to wait about 5 minutes in a foyer between 2 sliding glass doors with no ventilation and unable to get into the lobby in the 100 degree heat calling the front desk with my cellphone and ringing the intercom for the desk person to let me in a reservation I made over an hour before. I was greeted with anger and hostilities by the front desk person when I checked in. My room had dirty towels and a dirty comforter with a blood stain on it. After going to to the manager the next morning getting no resolution I said, I would never stay there again and dealt with Choice Hotels and got my compensation.||||In response to Patel's false narrative that was on here, I had many conversations with him about bad guest. He said, they never respond anymore to negative postings. No one cares. That is a lie. He has in the past and he did with mine. Patel says, I constantly complained about the walk-in showers. I mention it once. There were problems with dirty towels that felt like sand paper and brought them to the desk.||||Patel says, I was in between two doors for less than 3 minutes and never proved it. He lied about the temperate outside and time of day as he was not there. It was 100 degrees outside as I looked at my phone weather app when I was calling the front desk and it was not late at night. It was hot in the foyer. I was about to walk out to the parking lot when the rude woman came out of a room. Patel lies it was discussed several times the night clerk was in the laundry room. Fact, it was once with the other manager that I told I will never come back again and Patel. So your statement Patel I am no longer welcome has no merit and stupid and no guest will never come back after treated horribly. There was no thorough investigation he Patel says. Patel lies when he says the night clerk was showing acknowledgement waving her hands. It was not her hands. She threw her arms in the air in an angry manner after I put my hands up in the air like what's is going on? I did it right back like what? She then retaliates throwing her arms in the air again an abrupt angry manner giving me an dirty look. When I got to the counter I said, I don't appreciate your unprofessional attitude. She says, "There was no exchange." I said, I am going to speak to Mr. Patel. She said, "Go a head. I encourage you. I tell them everything." After that, I knew it was her word against mind and you said, you have no audio at the desk. The camera is not on her face only on the customer and the other manager said there was no camera at the location her coming out of the laundry room. Just on me at the sliding glass door. Patel managed hotels are cheap and don't give refunds. When your manager would not give me a refund I dealt with Choice Hotels. They gave me points equivalent to a one night stay there. Your desk person created a hostile environment that was more than a minor wait not me. She was station at the desk and with her aggressive behavior. You are short staffed and make clerks do laundry. Patel lies saying I was using bullying tactics without backing up his statement. After I got my free stay with Choice, I called Patel two days later just to hear Patel lie and not respect our rapport. ||||Lastly, Sleep Inn were fine and financially penalized for this incident. I have two recorded conversations with Choice Hotels Guest Relations confirming you were and it was put in your file along with the other 9 complaints that I can prove. As part of that conversation moving forward done through Choice Hotels, they request I have send a screen shot to them to validate your canard you wrote. You were the one who bullied me when you broke this website's management Response Guidelines Respectful of Privacy: No speculation as to the identity of the reviewer. Completed some survey I received via email. I was honest in my responses. Get a defensive non-response to the issues I had during my recent visit.

Issue 1 - drink machine did not work. Sleep Inn Response: The juice machine in our area is provided for guests use during our morning medley breakfast hours only and is not left on. My response: It was not working either day during breakfast. The breakfast was not good, by the way. The scrambled eggs were slimy.

Issue 2: The shower is dangerously slippery. Despite being warned by my fellow guest that the shower was so slippery she banged her shin, and entering the shower cautiously and trying to hold on to the wall, I also slipped and got a bruised shin. Sleep Inn Response: I am sorry that you and your guest found the rub slippery...Our hotel room tubs have 120 square inches of anti slip on the tub bottom surface. My Response: Thank you for your defensive response and total lack of concern for the welfare of your guests.

Issue 3: The shower curtain hollowed and allowed water to spray onto the bathroom floor. Upon getting wet the floor became as slick as ice. Sleep Inn Response: Our shower curtains are standard to all hotels and meant to be draped inside the tub and spread the full length of the shower rod to prevent water spray from escaping the shower. If the shower curtains are placed outside the tub then water will run down the curtain and onto the floor. My response: The curtain was draped inside the tub and spread the full length of the shower. And again zero concern for the safety of your guests is expressed.

There were a few other issues but this covers the gist. The rooms were sufficiently clean. But the value for the price did not seem worth the plethora...

Worst experience ever at a hotel!!! The lady at the front desk (Franz Pacquing) was extremely unprofessional and rude. My husband was eating breakfast early around 6:30 and stayed downstairs on his phone afterwards in front of the tv downstairs. Apparently the housekeeping lady who was preparing breakfast said he looked suspicious so she told Franz Pacquing (working the front desk) about him. Franz approached my husband with the exact words “what room are you in?” My husband responded excuse me and she said “what’s your name? You “look” suspicious” my husband felt extremely violated stereotyped and offended. Yes my husband is African American but does this mean it’s ok to question him? How did he look suspicious bc he was watching a television that’s in the lobby what is the television and couch for? For whites only? My husband said he is a guest and didn’t have to give her his name, she proceeded with “then I will call the cops.” To top this horrible racist stereotyping the hotel also didn’t have any hot water and wasn’t able to offer any discount on the rate... we had originally planned to stay two days but due to this situation of a form of hate crime stereotyping we decided to leave. If myself and children are asleep and my husband awake decides to stay down stairs after breakfast to not wake us up... how does this make him suspicious? How does him sitting on a couch watching a tv in the lobby make him suspicious? Because he is black? I have never ever ever been in a situation like this in my life and I refuse to stay somewhere where this type of behavior is the customer service you receive from a business. The worst experience I have ever...
