For a large family and for the location, it was definitely worth it. There’s lots of pluses, but it’s got some areas to improve on. Nevertheless, we’d still come back again!||Rooms had the right amount of beds and space. Two beds plus a large couch with a trundle bed. And they still had room for a desk, mini fridge, microwave and walk in closet. Closet is large, but having a bit more shelving or some drawers would be helpful. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap. Having more than one towel rack, maybe extra hooks, would be helpful. Also having a separate space for the toilet would’ve also been helpful. Laundry room was across from our room, but we didn’t use it. Don’t know if they charge. ||Breakfast is included. Oatmeal, cereal, sausage, bacon, eggs, bagels/bread, milk, juice, coffee. Good amount of food, but not really recommended unless you got no choice. If you have time, there’s local spots with really great breakfast. ||Location worked out great. 10 mins or so from Camelback Ranch. 20 or so from NASCAR track. Being Dodger and NASCAR fans, this hotel spot was perfect. 15 to the outlets. 35 to the airport. 25 to downtown. Lots to do around the hotel area, but yet, still a pretty quiet area. Not must congestion. Ended up being the right place for us. ||Customer service when we checked in was good. Nice and friendly. Even though we checked in after midnight. Aside from that, we didn’t interact with any...
Read moreDisappointed & Unappreciated – Poor Service at Marriott Springhill Suites Phoenix West Avondale I recently stayed at the Marriott Springhill Suites in Phoenix, Arizona West Avondale, and had a terrible experience with housekeeping and customer service. Despite specifically requesting that my room be cleaned, I returned from work to find that nothing had been done. I didn't even have soap. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, the two young front desk employees offered no assistance. Later that evening after I changed clothes and ate dinner, Mele provided a completely false excuse as to why they didn’t clean my room, claiming, "They probably didn't clean it because you left something on your bed." This was absolutely untrue—my bed was completely empty when I left in the morning. I only placed my belongings there after I came back to find my room untouched. Instead of taking responsibility, Mele offered no apology or solution—just a dismissive, “I would move you, but we’re fully booked.” As a Gold Bonvoy member and a person paying over 300 a night for this room, I expect better service, basic accountability, and at the very least, an acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, I felt completely unappreciated. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable for a Marriott property. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values good customer service. Do...
Read moreI am so happy we chose the Springhill on whim for a close option to our concert at the talking stick amphitheater, about 1.3mi away or 8 mins very easy to get to. There's a costco and plenty of other stores and restaurants within 1 or 2 minutes. They even have a pumpkin patch across the street as it is October at the time of our stay. The hotel is brand new and looks great, very, very clean. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a couch that pulled out into a bed. The staff are so nice and accommodating. There's a pool and large gym area as well, the restrooms are huge. The breakfast was wonderful with cage free eggs, spinach, eggs, and cheese muffin sized quiche, pork bacon, and / or sausage patties. A whole oatmeal bar and cereal area, plenty to drink as well. Small cartons of milk, fresh coffee, and tea options as well as an apple and orange juice machine. I was truly impressed with breakfast and our overall stay. The lady who took care of the breakfast area kept it very clean and well stocked and was very nice. Knowing that there are Springhill options everywhere, we will definitely be staying at different locations...
