I reached out to Lil Ms. Butterfly inc. to inquire about renting the space. She informed that the day and time that I wanted was available, sent me pricing and everything. I stopped pass there days later and took a look inside through the window and thought the space was big enough to accommodate my event. After seeing the space, I contacted her on Sunday afternoon to let her know that I was very interesting in moving forward and wanted to submit a deposit. Monday went by, no response. Because I did not hear from her, I decided that I would contact her on Tuesday around 12pm. I called her informed her that I saw the space from outside and did not need a walk through. I wanted to submit a $300 deposit. She said she would send the contract by 3pm. 3pm came, no contract. 5pm came, still no contract. So I reached out to her around 5pm and said “Hello, will you still be sending the contract today?” Her response, “Yes I just had clients all day. Will send it before the end of the day”. It is now 11:30pm on Tuesday night and still no contract. I waited another 24 hours to see if she would send it before contacting her again. She did not. So on Wednesday around 8pm, I texted her and respectfully said I still did not receive the contract. She responded 2 hours later and said “I do apologize. I’ll send it tomorrow”. Thursday came and STILL NO CONTRACT. Smh I wanted to support this black own business but this was definitely a RED FLAG. I gave her chance after chance to send it and was ready to submit my $300 deposit with no problem. This was very unprofessional on her behalf. I had my son 18th birthday party at this establishment and I never rarely use the word perfect but it was absolutely PERFECT!!!!! I gave the owner just 2 colors for decor and I was so worried of how it would look with giving her such limited detail, Let me just say she exceeded my expectations!!!! My guess and I were literally blown away when we walked into the door. It was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! She gave us more than a venue with decor, she gave us an experience! I haven’t seen my son cry and a while, this experience had him crying in front of his entire party! It was also very easy communicating the owner, she was very responsive every time I called with questions. I never felt alone or overwhelmed in the process. Down to the day of the event, she stayed for a while to make sure I was good! Her and her staff has been so kind and professional to me from the day I walked in to request a quote, Even the security guards were Angels!! I am SO GRATEFUL and THANKFUL to have met such an amazing team with such great talent. This experience is unforgettable for my family and I.
