I have been to three sporting events at the facility: UMaine men's basketball game, Eastern Maine Regional Cheering Competition, and a quarter final Eastern Maine basketball game. The ticket entrance is inconvenient and inefficient. Perhaps being able to pre-purchase tickets for ALL events and being provided a seperate entrance for those ticket holders would make it a smoother experience? This facility is probably near perfect for the big ticket entertainment events but I give it major thumbs down as a facility for the beloved MPA high school basketball tournament competitions. It is not a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, at all. It is full of employees groomed to expect that people in line with a sippy cup for their toddler are actually using the cup to ferry alcohol into the facility. I know another instance where a worker berated a mother with an infant for crossing her leg such that her toe rested against the back of the chair in front of her so that the infant would be in a position that is conducive to feeding under such cramped quarters. I am sad that something that could be so nice is being made so unpleasant because "that's the way it is everywhere else". This is Bangor, Maine. Can we not condition our population to become the heathens the facility is apparently expecting? Self-fulfilling prophecy can be an...

I attended a high school tournament game tonight. The parking was horrible. I parked by Bangor Daily. While walking around the building, looking for an open door, I came to the south east ENTRANCE. When I stepped in an elder man said "hold it right there, mister!". Confused I said "what?". He said I asked you to leave once. I said impossible, I just drove from Skowhegan and have been walking a half mile trying to get in. He interrogated me for 5 minutes then said go around. He then asked where I was from, Hermon, I replied. He then told me I should know my way around then but since this is a new building it was my first time.

My daughter played in the band and when trying to find us at a particular exit, she asked an elderly man in a Cross coat for directions and he reluctantly helped. She got turned around and asked the same gentleman again, he said " I already told you!"

I wonder if the Cross family knows they have such rude people wearing their family name and treating paying customers this way? We felt teased, bullied and harassed by these men. We will not be back nor would I recommend this site for anyone looking for fun. The staff ruined our first time. Shame on you! Stay home and be retired if you...

If you are going to a show where the average age of the crowd may be in their late 30s or 40s or higher and that show is something that is upbeat and exciting like a rock show, save your money and go to another venue.

The venue itself is five stars. Very classy and well kept. The attendees and police force are one star.

We went to a rock show and were in the box seats. As normal humans at a rock show, we wanted to stand and enjoy the show. The people behind us immediately insulted us before the first song even started with inappropriate language because we were standing. They then told on us to the usher, who threatened to get the police because we were standing during a rock show. The police then came and threatened to arrest us for “trespassing” during a rock show for standing.

I have never been to a rock show before where people and employees and local police were behaving in this manner. We were literally only standing and minding our own business.

Attend at your own risk of having a good time. And shame on you...

I went to this venue for a Theo Von show and I was very impressed with the size of the stadium, the quickness of the staff, and it felt really secure. I will come back. The prices of water were actually really good, paid $4 for actual bottle of water when I was expecting $7 for a cup. Looking for more events to see at this arena. Floor seats are a must if you’re a bigger person, the chairs aren’t for people 6’ + you’re knees are in someone’s back, and the seats are small if you’re a bigger person. Go for floor seats or the first 4 rows from the floor.. they have movable arm rests and more space.

Nice venue! Had no issues with staff or anything although security could be tighter. The sensor went off for me (I had nothing in my pockets) and I told them I had nothing and they just believed me, didn’t bother double checking. Think of what could’ve happened if I did have something that could harm others, insane. Saw the PBR rodeo there last Saturday. My only issue was people not knowing how to arrive at their seats on time and to not stand in the aisles. Nothing to do with the venue, just terrible situational awareness (typical). Had a great time though!

I saw a Ghost concert here and it was a great experience. The staff were really helpful with answering questions and making sure everyone got to their seats. I'm a bigger guy, so I was initially worried that my seat would be too small, but even sitting next to someone I didn't feel squished in. Overall had a great night, and I can't wait to come back
