I'm not one to create conspiracy theories... But how can Seasons food be THIS bad for so many years and still be in business? The bar is beautiful, Great selection of spirits and beers. Location is great...
I ate here years ago and it was atrocious. Came back again today because someone gave me a gift card and I knew what I was walking into and still, it was somehow worse.
Take Out orders are sent out in brown cardboard boxes. The only cheaper possible option would be maybe plastic bags with a bread tie on them?
Their "Flatties" are maybe a 6/10, not terrible, but they are sliced up and dumped/piled on top of each other in these brown cardboard boxes so they basically become mush/soup after a 10 minute drive back home.
The "Blackened chicken alfredo" says that it's served with linguine. In reality, it's served with mushy, overcooked penne and the "blackened chicken" is burned. I get it, blackened is blackened... This chicken is just burned on purpose. There is a difference and this tastes like flavorless little chunks of charcoal. The chicken wasn't even all that dry, but it was so flavorless other than the strong charcoal flavor from being literally burnt.
It's important to reiterate the pasta here. I'm not even mad that they used a different kind of pasta (It's Seasons and my bar is set pretty low) but to overcook the penne so that it's mushy... All you have to do is know how to cook pasta... What are your "cooks" doing in there?
The cheese sauce was fine and satisfactory.
The broccoli was cooked adequately and not mushy or under cooked. It was served in gigantic pieces though and not what you would expect for an alfredo dish. Just slice it up a little better.
Overall, I will obviously never eat here again unless someone gives me another gift card because the food is just so bad...
What confuses me is how this place is still in business? Who is buying and eating this food more than once? I'm genuinely not mad... I'm scientifically fascinated how this place can stay in business considering how hilariously bad the food is at Seasons. Dominos is "fine dining" compared to whatever-the-hell is going on at Seasons. Like, just stop...
Read moreThis was a tough one. We were there for our historic inns Christmas party. The food was good, atmosphere great, server (Rachel) nope, no thank you. She was clearly having a bad day so our 10 top got the brunt of her attitude. she didn't even give herself a chance to feel us out or bother to get to know us before she was rolling her eyes and slamming things down on the table. When the GM came out to our table and chat us up, (after 40 minutes of dealing with her) she came up and watched while picking up plates. Once she realized we were personal friends and do some business with the restaurant her attitude changed and she became a peach. Apologizing for everything that she had put us through. So apparently you'll get no decency from her unless she knows you have a personal relationship with someone that holds a higher title than what she has. It was hard because this place is really great and the GM is just amazing, every server we've ever have had there has been wonderful. we've been there many times but have never been treated so indecently but a staff member. We are a business that runs on great hospitality so it's kind of a bummer when you run into someone in the hospitality business that clearly picked the wrong line of work. You'll definitely enjoy your time there. If you get her I wish you better luck then what we had. If you're like me the foods only as good as the service. You shouldn't have to make it known that you have a relationship with someone's boss to get good service and respect from them. Maybe it just wasn't her night, I get it, it happens. However, that doesn't excuse that kind of behavior at your place of employment and...
Read moreWe had a great server and we're thankful for that. Unfortunately, they have become all about the money and hidden extra charges not listed anywhere. Check your bill when you get it. I ordered a shortstop chicken bites from the dinner menu instead of the regular chicken tender dinner as it was a smaller portion, cheaper ($11.99 vs $15.99) and because I had had a large appetizer. Bill had a $3 dinner upcharge although there was no mention of it on the menu. None of their beer list has sizes or prices on it so you're left to guess what size your going to get and got no explanation until the bill came. They call a 16oz beer a "tall" for most everything except bud light and highlife and charge ridiculous amounts for it. Why not disclose that on your menu instead of relying on the "servers" as I was told you do to make that known? My wife and kids had to listen to the hostess and one of the servers mock me and make cat sounds while I talked to management about this. Pretty sad what has become of this place. My wife and I had our first date here several years ago. We had our rehearsal dinner here, so it's always had a special place in our hearts. I'm however left feeling after this visit that everything they do revolves around their bottom line, being the least transparent as possible, adding up charges that aren't listed anywhere, thinking people won't speak up or notice once they...
