We love Ochsner Park! Its between the Zoo & the river. It gives families so much to do. You could spend hrs in this area & a great place to meet other friends & family. Nice parking area also. You can come to this park & enjoy a nice picnic, then go for a nice walk down the walking trail along the river or even stop in to the Ochsner Zoo & check out the animals & feed a few also. Read moreI've been going to this park my entire life. It's a great little park but the only thing that is disappointing is seeing the wolf's and how poorly they have been maintained. The small pond they can cool off in was dried up and muddy. All they had to drink was out of 2 small buckets of water and the food was what looked like 4 rotted turkeys that smelled horrible and looked terrible. They didn't want to get anywhere near area.
