We dine out frequently and have found the Little Village Cafe to be a hidden gem with unparalleled quality and charm and this is now our go to place. From the moment you walk in you are embraced by its cozy and welcoming atmosphere making you feel right at home. The ambiance combines the warmth of a charming village eatery with a touch of flair, creating the perfect setting for a delightful experience. The real star is the food. Every thing we have tried is a masterpiece crafted with the freshest ingredients and you can tell it was prepared with a passion that shines through with every bite. They do have classic items and always seem to have something new and inventive within their daily specials. The flavors are nothing short of extraordinary as it is clear the quality here surpasses what you will find at other eateries - it feels like farm to table freshness! The service also deserves special mention. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, balancing efficiency with genuine warmth. They are always ready to provide recommendations or accomodate any special requests with a smile. It is truly rare to find such a combination of heart and professionalism. The value is also very good. They provide not only exquisite dishes but also fair pricing that respects the quality of their food. You leave feeling satisfied both gastronomically and financially, knowing that you have enjoyed superior food without breaking the bank. Little village cafe is the perfect spot for anyone looking for great food in a cozy and friendly setting. It is the place where deliciousness and quality meet authenticity and heart. We cannot recommend it highly enough! Whether you are a local or just passing through, a visit...

Another day, another fantastic meal at my favorite restaurant. My fiance, bless his heart, rarely knows what to get me for presents, but on our 5th anniversary he knew exactly where to take me, a restaurant I've been ranting and raving about for over a decade: Little Village Cafe.

Little is in the name, but it is the ONLY place in town where you'll consistently get big flavor. The atmosphere is quaint, the lighting is romantic, and the people are wonderful. Our waitress was a lovely woman with an exuberant personality with a smile to match. I would have never guessed she was working; her positivity was so infectious.

We started off with the roasted red pepper soup, shared with two spoons at the suggestion of our waitress 💜✨️ I'm a creature of habit and rarely like trying new foods at restaurants, but this is a place where I'm excited to try new flavors, and the soup went beyond my expectations. Delicious, decadent, smooth, and umami are just a few of the words to describe the soup.

And like the creatures of habit we are, we both got the tortellini with blackened chicken again and it was RAVISHING. Or we were ravishing the tortellini, rather. I don't know if it was the atmosphere, the company, or the date, but this time the chicken was particularly succulent and flavorful.

Compliments to the chef and staff ✨️🔥 Thank you for making our 5th delicious and...

Located right at the corner on the town square across the courthouse there is a plaque on the wall outside about the history of the building. A super cute cafe - authentic counter stools, wooden booths that were as regal as church pews, a large bar and nice wine selection - it was the perfect place to grab lunch after a morning hike at Devils Lake state park. Nice vegetarian options in each menu category we tried the goat cheese and bread basket. It was a unique - and tasty - presentation i hadn't seen elsewhere, soft warm goat cheese surrounded by roasted red pepper relish, olive oil and roasted soft garlic cloves. The black bean burger is a good patty and well prepared. the black bean burrito is substantial and tasty, very filling. A glass of white wine was crisp and fresh. Service was terrific and had a small town cafe vibe from the hospitality being seated, to food recommendations and follow-up. I look forward to returning my next time in Baraboo.
