Bardstown Mills — Attraction in Bardstown

I have been taking my dog there to the pet grooming facility for several years. They did a great job and provided good customer service up until the last few months. The past few times, I was treated like they were doing me a favor to groom my dog, and my dog would end up being there five+ hours for her grooming appointment. The last time, I dropped her off for a 1:00 appointment that was set 8 weeks prior. My daughter stopped in at 4:30 and was told it would be a while. I went to get her at 5:55 after I got off from work and they still hadn’t started on her. They close at 6:00, so I asked how long did they think it would be. The two groomers shrugged their shoulders and said they didn’t know, and walked off. I went back at 6:30 and they were waiting outside with my dog in the car. Said she had fallen through the cracks. They never explained why, when my daughter went in at 4:30, they didn’t figure out that she was there for a 1:00 appointment. It was evident that my dog’s groom was rushed—she was straight up shaved down to nothing. They also gave no form of apology or explanation when I finally was able to pick her up. We also have family that have had a similar experience with their dog being forgotten the entire day and never being groomed. I am very disappointed with their treatment of my dog and will not be taking...

Went in to buy my first ever real compound bow. I was straight up like I have zero Idea what I need. Eric there helped me get everything set perfect for me and really went above and beyond to help me out with my new bow. Shot a few arrows to make sure everything felt right and sights were perfect. Even helped me find the right release and arrows. Plus the guy knows his stuff archery from what I have researched can be very complex but I felt 100% comfortable talking with him that he knew exactly what he was doing and really has his craft/art down. I respect that. Would highly recommend if you are wanting to get into archery go there when he is working and you will leave one happy satisfied customer. I'm about to move but I will be more than happy to make a 3 or 4 hour drive to come back here if I ever need work...

I love this supply store! Not only are the associates super friendly. They have a great selection of items for both household and farm animals. There are also items available for hunting. This is definitely a one-place get everything at once store. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Update Store is still fantastic. Wanted to mention they have an on-site professional dog grooming area. Appointment is needed.

They have plants ready to enter your garden available. Ducklings are cute and fluffy and ready for a home. They have outside storage and chicken pins available for purchase and it looks like there supplies for food for the animals had gotten bigger!

There's is also tools and gardening products to help your plants grow, to keep bugs at bay and to get rid of pests.

Employees are still very friendly and helpful....
