Country Garden — Local services in Bardstown

Perfect little hometown grocery with all of your staple produce options and a few uncommon options as well. Great place to get locally grown flowers in the spring and some tropical plants too. They are run by the Guthrie Opportunity Center now, as Roby's donated the store, which is really amazing. The participants from the GO Center volunteer and work at Country Gardens for work experience and some for fun. Aside from flowers and produce, you can also find a variety of vegetable, fruit, pepper, and melon plants with vegetable seed, grass seed, and mulches close by. It really is a one stop shop for most of your gardening needs.

Oh! And they just started getting in some of the locally grown produce from the gardens the GO Center has been maintaining using a lot of their own product!...

Great gardening and fresh produce store. The fruits and vegetables are always excellent quality. They sell large sacks if potatoes up to 50 pounds.
