Save your $10 admission. This is a 20 minute museum with 3 gallery rooms. The art is sub par with some truly ugly pieces in their permanent collection. The gift shop has better art than the galleries. Also much of the art is paintings of women including lots of Eleanor Roosevelt if you like that sort of thing. Read moreIt's a fairly small space but worth a quick visit on a rainy day. It was cool to see some local Cape Cod talent. I liked their recycled art exhibit the most (super cool octopus made out of plastic bottles). We got in for free by using a library pass. Just get a CLAMS card. If you are used to the MFA, the Gardener and other Boston museums you might be a little disappointed. Their little sculpture garden area out front is definitely worth a visit however. The museum staff and the various teachers that were involved were very enthusiastic about the arts and very inclusive to the kids and their families.
