Underground Bakery — Restaurant in Dennis

I am so glad we hired Laurie from the Underground Bakery to cater desserts for our wedding day! Not only were our cake and cupcakes delicious, but her customer service was top-notch, and her prices are reasonable. After exchanging a few emails about what we wanted, Laurie executed flawlessly with no follow-up! She even reached out to me the week ahead to assure me that everything was all set (we dealt with a hurricane and Laurie was prepared AND flexible!). The professionalism here was much appreciated. And, our family could not stop raving about the cupcakes! They were so moist, and even retained their quality for enjoyment over the days after our celebration. Thank you so much Laurie!!

Very disappointed with the customer service here. We came in to get a few items and drinks, and the cashier allowed a bottleneck from a group of four to cause a delay in service to others. On top of that, a barista who came to help decided to to serve a customer that was in line behind us (a regular by their conversation).

And to make matters worse, they gave us the wrong items.

It's disappointing that this small business did so poorly today. The food was not what we wanted, and we already left when we noticed it. Fly crawling over Focaccia bread in bake case. Cafe needs a good steam clean - it was all very dirty. 'Panini' sandwich was just 2 small regular slices of bread, toasted - $8. They forgot the liquid for my ramen - that came 3 mins later. Lunch took about 20 mins to arrive and there was only 1 person ahead of us. No public restroom - I was directed to the gas station across the street. This place might be good for coffee and baked goods (if you don't mind the flies) but there are lots of other better sandwich and lunch places in the area.
