An older theater, there is charm, nostalgia and amazing art within these walls. The soaring ceiling within the auditorium was phenomenal; do tilt your head back and enjoy! And, it was nice wide isles, too, when walking in.
I felt like I had slipped back to my childhood as we sat together, munching popcorn made and covered with real butter. The owner gave us our tickets and made sure we remembered that fact, too, as we entered. And, goodness, it was delicious!
While the building is vintage, the sound most certainly is not, updated enough to keep me immersed in a soul-filled movie and I forgot my reality as I fully engaged in the scene before me. It seems that we are encouraged to buy costly insurance to cover the cost of buying a ticket - which is already more than regular price at door. The convenience of being able to have a ticket in hand is lost when one spends too much time trying to accomplish it...
