Eventide Theatre Company — Attraction in Dennis

I have seen many wonderful plays at the Eventide. I am so happy that I live right up the street from this wonderful theater. Yesterday I saw the radio play version of "It's a Wonderful Life" and truly loved it! I wasn't sure at first if I would because of the way it was presented but I found quickly that all the actors put so much heart and soul into their performances that I was immediately drawn in. I have seen the movie more times than I can remember and I felt that the actors in this particular play were very well suited in their roles. If I closed my eyes I felt like I was watching the movie at times! At the end of the show the actors encouraged the audience to join in on singing Auld Lang Syne which we all did. I found that I was choked up emotionally from the whole experience and would highly recommend this little theater in the Dennis Village to every one. They always do a...

Last night's performance of Arthur Miller's powerful drama All My Sons by the cast of the EventideTheater Company in Dennis, MA was stunning. I have seen this piece a number of times and last night's was one of the best. The entire cast brought this tragic play to life in a memorable and often heart breaking way and earned a much deserved standing ovation. While each cast member gave a note worthy performance, special gold stars from this viewer, go to those portraying the key players, the parents, Joe and Kate and Chris the surving son. Eventide’s production of Arthur Miller is yet another example of the diverse challenges it successfully takes up in its programming. Superb directing and a cast communicating well with audience.
