Title: "A Magical Melody of Memories: My Frozen Sing-Along Adventure!"
Review:
Stepping into the Hyperion Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I was enchanted for the second time by the "For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration." As someone who has experienced this magical journey twice, once last July and again just last week, I can confidently say that it is a highlight not just of the park but of the entire Disney experience.
The show is a delightful 30-minute journey into the heart of Arendelle, inviting you to sing along with beloved characters like Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven. The energy is infectious as you join voices with a theater full of fans, belting out iconic tunes like "Let It Go" and "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman." But the title song, "For the First Time in Forever," truly captures the show's essence – a celebration of joy and togetherness.
What sets this sing-along apart is the high-quality production values you'd expect from Disney and the warm, communal atmosphere. It's more than a performance; it's an interactive experience where you feel an integral part of the magic. The cast's enthusiasm is palpable, spreading through the audience and ensuring everyone, from the littlest Frozen fan to the adults, is swept up in the fun.
To future visitors, I offer this advice: arrive early, wear comfy shoes, and most importantly, bring your best singing voice! Although no reservations are required, the show's popularity means seats can fill quickly. And while there might not be a meet-and-greet opportunity post-show, the memories you'll make during this enchanting half-hour are more than enough to keep the magic alive. Whether you're a lifelong Frozen fan or experiencing the wonder for the first time, this show is an unforgettable addition to your...
Read moreI was excited to watch this show with our boys but unfortunately was let down, my boys however really enjoyed the end. Even with fast pass, you're left waiting about 15 minutes until the show starts. The theater was set up nicely and it was nice and cool and comfortable inside. First of all the sound was WAY too loud OMG! Like seriously check the volume of your sound system. My ears were bleeding by the end of the show. For a show that went on for about 30 minutes, you briefly see Anna at the start and two random characters, once Anna leaves the stage you're then left with the two random characters who basically narrate the entire movie and that's where the sing a long parts come in. They try to be up beat and funny to keep us entertained but I was left rolling my eyes and just completely unimpressed and just annoyed. By the end of the show during the last 5 minutes all of the characters finally come out and they throw in a few surprises like soap sud into the audience as "magical snow" from Elsa, which was pretty cool and the boys really loved that but c'mon... they leave us hanging for majority of the show for the best part to come in at the very end. What was the point of the characters getting all dressed up, rehearsing their lines and having an amazing stage set up only to have the MAIN characters of the movie to come in for a measly 5 minutes at the end???!! You can do...

When I visited four years ago, I might have just missed it, but for me, it was new to me. The moment I saw it, I knew I had to go! I thought it might be mainly for little kids, but there were plenty of groups of adults too.
When my own kids were little, we used to watch and sing along to Disney sing-along videotapes together, so I went in with that feeling. It was great to see the story presented in a narrative format by the historians of Arendelle, not just on video. We got to sing along to various Frozen songs together, and singing loudly felt so good.
I consider myself quite a happy person compared to most, but there was a group of guys sitting diagonally behind me who were definitely happier than me : ) They were singing even louder than I was and say loud all the lines, clearly having a blast. It's wonderful that Disney provides an environment where you can fully embrace that.
I enjoyed it so much that I went five times during my three days in Hollywood. As soon as I got home, I watched Frozen.
I really hope they make Aladdin and Moana sing-alongs too. There's a Beauty and the Beast sing-along at Epcot, but it's video-only, so while it's fun, it lacks a bit of excitement and emotion. But if you don't know Frozen, I still think it's...
