In the southeast corner of the park, there is a small, grassy picnic area. The wooded area is a little dumpy, but not unpleasant. There are both asphalt and more natural paths within, forming a bisected loop, and exits to the sidewalks on SW 130th Avenue and SW 22nd Street, and onto SW Whistling Way via an external path.
