El Jefe Mexican Grill in Beaverton is not just a revelation in Mexican cuisine; it's a culinary landmark that transcends expectations. Every visit to this vibrant eatery is an adventure, an opportunity to indulge in dishes that are crafted with an unmatched level of passion and authenticity. Among its many mouthwatering offerings, the BBQ chicken stands out as a masterpiece, a dish so perfectly executed that it has rightfully earned the title of the best BBQ chicken in town.

The magic of El Jefe's BBQ chicken lies in its meticulous preparation. The chicken is marinated in a blend of traditional spices and herbs, ensuring every fiber of the meat is infused with flavor. Then, it's grilled to perfection, achieving a succulent inside with a beautifully charred exterior that locks in all the juicy goodness. The result is a dish that balances smokiness with the rich, complex flavors of Mexican cuisine, setting a new standard for BBQ chicken.

When compared to other dining options in the area, like El Pollo Loco, El Jefe distinguishes itself not only through its exceptional taste but also through its commitment to quality and authenticity. It’s the attention to detail, the vibrant flavors, and the freshness of the ingredients that elevate El Jefe above the rest, making it the unrivaled choice for those in pursuit of the best Mexican cuisine.

Moreover, the value for money at El Jefe Mexican Grill is unparalleled. The generous portions of BBQ chicken, alongside their array of delectable dishes, ensure that patrons leave with both their appetites and wallets satisfied. It's this combination of excellence and value that makes El Jefe a treasure within Beaverton's dining scene.

In conclusion, El Jefe Mexican Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of the rich tapestry of Mexican cuisine, brought to life with every dish served. The BBQ chicken, in particular, is a shining example of El Jefe's dedication to culinary excellence, making it not just the best BBQ chicken in town but a memorable highlight of the Mexican culinary experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, missing out on El Jefe would mean missing out on a cornerstone of Beaverton's...

Not my fav at all.

The size is great, same massive burrito as everywhere else. The price is $9 for a burrito 🌯 which is a dollar less then other places.

I didn't think much of the salsas, tried avocado 🥑 and verde. Beans in the burrito had no spices at all. The chicken was well spiced, lingua was not spiced just tasted boiled and stringy, had some funk to it, obviously not fresh.

Rice was gross ...some dry mix with dehydrated peas and carrots and undercooked, still dehydrated in my burrito. Onions were old and smelly and cilantro looked cooked.

They don't have tripas which is my fav in burritos.

I've wanted to try this place a long time as it smells amazing driving by. Parking is a real issue here so I've not stopped before. Was really disappointed with this experience, won't be coming back. Very surprised with all the 5 stat reviews. I tried 5-6 different taco trucks in the last 3 weeks as we were traveling and this was the worst by far.

It's not fresh, maybe the chicken is but that's it. Service is fast, but I prefer a number of other trucks that offer tripas, serve fresh food, and have tastier...

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in their quesobirria tacos, and let me tell you, they are among the best I've had in a long time. The flavors were rich, and the cheese pull was nothing short of spectacular.

The service here is commendable--fast and friendly. The staff exudes kindness, making the experience even more enjoyable. What caught my attention, besides the mouthwatering tacos, was the tantalizing aroma of the chicken being grilled right in front of you. It's an olfactory delight that sets the stage for the deliciousness that follows.

The prices here are fair, especially considering the quality of the food. While I initially went in for tacos, I couldn't resist trying a quarter of their grilled chicken. It smelled too good to pass up, and the taste lived up to the aroma.

The only downside worth noting is the limited parking spots. It's a popular spot, and rightly so, so consider avoiding peak hours to sidestep any inconvenience. Trust me; the food is worth the visit, and you won't be...

El Jefe Mexican Grill is located right at the intersection of Allen and Lombard -it’s too easy to find, just follow the amazing smell of the grill. Parking is very limited during the lunch rush from 12-1 so I like to park across the street and walk over. I enjoy visiting businesses where the owners and employees are so passionate about what they’re doing. This place is all about the grill. They have roasted chickens and all of the salsas that you could want to take home with it. They have fantastic tacos the service is quick even during the rush. They’ve got it all… except for low carb/ no sugar drinks. You might want to take your own drink if you are on a low sugar diet and want a refreshment with your meal ☺️
