Rent-A-Center — Local services in Beaverton

We live in California but planned a trip to Beaverton, OR, for surgery. Prior to the procedure my surgery center recommended I look into renting a lift chair. (Enter Beaverton Rent-A-Center - specifically the manager, Kimberly.)

After my first pre-op on March 11, we went straight to Rent-A-Center and met Kimberly. From the moment my husband walked into the lobby of this business, he was met by professionalism, kindness and customer service that went above and beyond. The extended rental price for the chair was beyond acceptable and Kimberly assured us when we arrived for my surgery later in the month our chair would be ready. And it was! We also inquired about adding a TV and it was done. Both items were high quality, a great price and delivered on time.

Our intent was to rent for a set period of time; however, a medical complication necessitated us traveling back home early. Kimberly was so understanding, she made the early return of the rentals seamless and stress free and she made it clear she really cared about us as people. Our well being was her priority.

We recommend the Beaverton Rent-A-Center with confidence and know you will be very satisfied with their pricing, product and above all customer SERVICE!

I'm not going to lie.. I've been an extremely disrespectful, bratty and all around difficult customer right off the bat. Complaining when there was nothing to complain about - for example - when it turned out I didn't have to make a payment on one of my items until next month.. I was upset everything wasn't "due on the same day". Everything is due on the same day like I requested, I just had to pay less this month.. which is obviously ideal.

Regardless of the circumstances in my life this week that led me to project such cruddy energy on this team.. It was excessive and unnecessary.. and they were absolutely phenomenal. Each and every member of this store stayed patient, positive, and explained things in various ways until I fully absorbed it.

I am disappointed in my behavior. However, I am utterly grateful for their consistent impressive customer service and extremely satisfied with the new additions to my living room (75" Samsung smart tv & a beautiful black entertainment stand with an impressive electric fireplace). I'd give 10...

About 9 months to a year ago I was a customer at this store. While a customer I had asked not to be called for anything unless I was past due and they followed this pretty well. Since I have not been their customer I have been called on a regular basis trying to get me to come back. I have called several times and asked them to remove me from their list to no avail. I had to go as far as to block them from my phone! Tonight I receive a VM from Rent a Center and called back asking once again to be removed from the list. The guys that ansered the phone was very rude to me, very short. After I gave him my name and number he finished with "There, you have been removed" and SLAMMED down the phone. I have used Rent a Center off and on for 15 years or better but very seriously doubt I will ever go...
