Oh man this place is so good and I feel like it's a quiet kept secret!! Been back twice and everything was so good! The flavors are good, clean and so tasty! Serving size is nice and the prices seem reasonable for the serving. We've been trying to find some good salt and pepper squid on this side of town and I think we found it! I've tried a little bit of everything. Dim sum, soups(fish maw, bun bo hue, bun rieu), snails. All good! The menu has a wide range of things which is kind of interesting. There is something for everyone. Can't wait to try all the other things! The owner is super nice and just over all have had a nice experience with them. The first time we went the dance floor threw us off. They do karaoke on Saturday nights! And can be a wedding venue as well.

Took my mom here for dinner when we visited this past summer cuz it was one of her favorite Viet restaurant in Portland. It was surprisingly good and authentic. We got a few specials and it didn't disappoint. The shrimp paste noodle platter and betel wrapped beef platter were good, tasted as authentic. The signature garlic noodle was tasty. Com Chay bo luc lac was good, which the beef wasn't dry or over cooked. Flavor was good. Bun Tom thit nuong was decent. It was on pricy side for what you get though. Service should be better and more improved. Would I return? Yes, but for the food, not for the service.

We came here for a late lunch this weekend to try out some of the items you do not see at your normal restaurants. The service is super friendly and the space is pretty spacious. The interior feels like it can be used for private gatherings. Some of the items we ordered included the betel wrapped platter, crispy rice roasted chicken, crispy rice shaken filet mignon beef (probably my fav), honey chicken, string beans, and more. Everything was tasty and felt like it was freshly made. It's a good place to go with a group so you can try more things.

As a Washingtonian, this place was a great choice. My reasoning for a 5 star: Food alone is rated at 4 since most of the food we ordered was wonderfully made (which is 9 items excluding drinks), customer service is a 5 for outstanding attentiveness and courtesy, and price is a 5 for affordability and portion.

Ratings of the food we ordered for a party of 4:

Small hotpot - 5* food is plenty for two people, especially if you're a big eater. Order any side dishes to go along with it and you won't finish and if you did, you'll be really full. In addition to the meats and veggies, it comes with egg noodles.

Orange chicken - 5* perfect amount of sauce and chicken stays crisp enough to complement it. Definitely not bland like most orange chicken we had in Washington.

Spicy noodle bowl (bun bo hue) - 5* broth was wonderful and flavorful. Decent bowl like a large, which is normal. Definitely a traditional Vietnamese bowl with all the toppings to go along with it.

Phó - 5* broth was wonderful and if the broth is good then everything else is good. How do you know the broth is good? When you can eat a bowl of phó without adding anything else to it.

Salt & pepper squid - 4* well flavored for balance and it's crispy. Not soggy like some that I have gotten before. This is a Thai dish that most places gets wrong because they fail to batter it the right way.

Har Gow (shrimp dumplings) - 5* well flavored. Did not lose the shrimp flavor and was cooked right.

Chicken feet - 4* very soft like the way it should be and well flavored. But, you can taste a distinct difference compared to most dim sum places in Washington. I believe the difference is the level of soy sauce used.

Chicken yakisoba - 5* it was made a little different but tasted really good. The yakisoba I usually have is a lighter taste. This one was a little more rich so you can tell there's a different style of seasoning to it.

Siu Mai (pork dumplings) - 4* flavor wasn't well balance but it was still good enough to eat. Needed a little more pork flavor and less mushroom.

As for the drinks, it's a 4*. The drinks we had were Boba and milk tea. It's great but not the best depending...

Decent food but horrid management. My wife and I rented the place last year for our wedding reception. Our first meeting with the manager CJ went well. Our 2nd meeting was with the owner and we were introduced to fees that were never mentioned during the first meeting. We had already deposited money so backing out was not an option.

The wedding day started with some miscommunication between the owner and staff. The tables and chairs were not set up the way we asked and the staff did not know we had our own menus to be set up on the tables. Paid extra (but was refunded) for spotlight but it didn't really work. Paid extra for an extra hour of time but they were cleaning up and moving tables 2 hours early, not informing guests they were just making more room so a lot of people left thinking the party was over.

The party was over an hour early and our parents asked the owner for a refund of the extra hour. Instead they got in to an argument. owner said my wife and I don't understand Vietnamese (my wife is fluent btw) and then started talking trash about my family on Facebook afterwards. Still had a fun wedding but definitely left with a sour taste in my mouth. Come here to eat decent Vietnamese food but I would not recommend...

I ordered and paid $300 for 5 trays of food a week ahead of time for our son’s 1st bday. I came to pick up the food today and was told they don’t have the order at all and nothing was ready. Really?!!!! They then said whoever took the order used an old menu and wanted us to pay $5 more per tray.Told them I’m not paying more, they need to talk to the person who took the order and figure it out…They finally agreed and put together the food in a scramble. Although I was not happy that the restaurant dropped the ball on our order I was hoping the food would make up for the poor customer service. I’m disappointed to say that the food did not taste good and was not of restaurant quality at all. What kind of catering service is this? You don’t have the food ready and have the nerve to request that we pay more? It was a mistake to order from this place and I will never buy anything from here...
