This is a real review. We were not paid to write this. We have shopped here for many years and just love this store (and the family). They have very good prices and very friendly service! Cove Creek has some of the finest high end "outdoorsy" clothes around! Very nice casual attire too! Also, a very nice selection of shoes. I have personally fell in love with the "Oboz" brand. Wearing these shoes has effectively ended my constant heel pain. I can now stand on my feet for hours. Now, onto the gun shop. High end guns and mid priced guns are there waiting for you. No "junk" brand cheap stuff. You can buy with confidence and they never try to up-sell you. They know the products and can help you make the right decision (and stand behind them). Also, a great selection of ammo, optics and knives. I'll be honest, I'm not a fisherman, but they seem to have some really good rods, reels and gear too. This is a great "family" owned and operated store. Stop on in, like we did over 10 years ago and start the best retailer relationship you could ever find. I've ordered my Beretta 694 Sporting from Cove Creek Outfitter and had a great experience. I live in Colorado so the shotgun was shipped to my preferred FFL. It took about a week and everything went smoothly. The gun is expensive so I was a little concerned about the condition, as display gun (from my own experience) tend to have nicks and scratches cough cough (Sportsmen's Warehouse) cough (Cabela's). However, I was told my gun was in warehouse and that it probably was never taken out of the package. The gentlemen reassured me that if there was any cosmetic blemishes or anything else that I was not happy with that I would be able to return the gun without any restocking fee. He was really nice about everything, I forgot his name maybe, Bobby? Idk. Sure enough, the gun looked like it was never touched, beautiful! I recently bought a pair of $400 kenetrek boots off Amazon through this company. As an avid hunter I have dealt with numerous high end hunting companies ranging from Sitka, and Kuiu to Kenetrek. I can say in all my experience dealing with retailers this has been the most pathetic customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a pair of 12W, and found them to be a bit too small. As a result I returned the boots and the company decided to charge me an arbitrary amount of $200 as a restocking fee. When I inquired they told me the packaging was damaged and there was tape on the return box, and this was the reason for the deduct.
