Founders Crossing — Local services in Bedford

They have a sign posted on the door about wearing masks (per PA state mandate). As a visitor from MD on 10/25, I fully expected compliance. However, 2 employees behind the counter at the cash register were NOT wearing masks (though they were behind a plastic shield). Then I noticed several patrons roaming the store without masks. I was in the store about 20 minutes and never saw any employee address the situation. Then 2 vendors who rent a space were putting things on the shelves WITHOUT masks! As someone who has had several members of my family get Covid, one who was hospitalized for 2 weeks and another who DIED, I resent those who throw caution to the wind and disregard the health of others. I was going to purchase some things but decided against it. I do not want to patronize any business that puts others´ lives at risk! No wonder PA´s cases are...

Worst service ever in the cafe!!! Used to love that place prior to new owner. Went to the cafe today with my son & his girlfriend. Got to counter and basically was ordered to sit. When she got to our table to ask for our drinks, she was less than pleasant, almost like we were not wanted in there. When she brought back our lemonades, the cups were filthy. We told her we needed a minute to choose our lunch, she rolled eyes and made a huffing sound and slammed the menus on the table and walked away. We were so insulted that we got up and offered to pay for dirty lemonades and told her that her service was lacking respect, warmth and she was plain rude. Her excuse was that she had ONE additional customer! Never going back there and don't recommend it to...

A recommended target for our drive through the area. Upstairs is a sort of country craft area where I got some FABULOUS!! Local Honey (oooh my)....and a hand made / dipped peanut butter egg. So - already winning. (it did seem that several booths were closed - but maybe they will be more "open" when the season - and etc - opens back up). Downstairs holds "booths" /areas of various antique/flea stalls. We saw both way overpriced and super deals and some just right (like goldilocks). There didn't seem to be any room for bargaining/price reduction. A few places had a 20% off everything sign. Spent a goood hour looking at EVERYTHING....your time might...
