Fall is in the air; therefore, a brisk walk on the Ma & Pa trail is a wonderful way to enjoy *the cool weather, *the leaves that are beginning to change & flutter down to crunch beneath your steps, *while getting some beneficial walking time accomplished. (I am a dog lover and enjoy briefly chatting with those who are walking their dogs.) Runners & bikers pass by too quickly, but most walkers have time to be open & friendly. For a great time, safely walk alone or with friends, on the scenic, winding Ma & Pa trail and take the opportunity to connect with nature, people & pets.

The Ma & Pa trail is an excellent trail to walk, jog, run, or bike. The trail weaves through beautiful Harford County Bel Air area. The vast majority of the trail I'd shaded. There are wetlands, forest, hills (small and Steep!), tunnels, streams, and beautiful birds singing all day. If one walks from Annie's Playground that person could easily wind up at Bel Air's Independent Brewery for a nice well made refreshment. The trail has markers ever quarter mile to keep your focus and motivation up. Perfect for families, dog walking, or just sweating it out.

A scenic and beautiful trail, walkable all seasons of the year. I started walking this trail when it first opened decades ago. It’s beautifully maintained and evolves with the times. You can tell a lot of investment has gone into the trail, especially on the side between the equestrian centre and towards the fallston side. The children’s playground has recently been updated, a soccer pitch created, and the pond around the equestrian centre has been drained and replaced by a lovely stream and new bridges. Highly recommend for friends, families, or solo.

The MA & PA heritage trail is a great little trail running through the woods and streams of Bel Air Maryland. The majority of the trail from the dog park to the trail head is just about 4 miles round trip. The path is paved in some areas and gravel in others. Water drainage is good and only a few spots on the path were still wet after a heavy rain a few days earlier. Great place to bring your kids and pets for scenic walk out run through the woods. There are a few steep inclines along the way that might be a challenge for strollers or bikes.

This running, biking, dog and people walking trail is in Bel Air along the Maryland and Pennsylvania train route; it can be quite busy during the summer months. It is very scenic and quiet. The trail itself has many inclines, making it challenging but not difficult. There are turn off trails that lead to Harford Mall and Johns Hopkins summer home. Also, if you cross the street, once you go through the green arches, the trail continues and you'll end up at Annie's Playground. Parking is free and all pets are leashed.

Can walk alone and know you're safe cuz there's always someone comin round the bend. Relaxing, beautiful woods and the sounds of trickling water is just what the Dr. ordered. It's 4.2 miles from parking lot by Old Mill to Equestrian Center round trip. Some STEEP paths also to keep that ❤️ heart rate up. Good for the soul as well as your mind and sooooo the Best for a great walk.
