They sell horrible food. I bought menudo which they sold to me knowingly that it had nothing left in there but stew! I was distracted by my child for a minute then turned around and the owner was done serving my cup so I didn’t see that the owner (who is the father) filled the cup with literally 6 pieces of hominy , 3 pieces of tripe and a whole lot of stew! I basically ate stew with onions. Their tamales are sold when already stale and old, their empanadas are also old but still sold that way. I bought queso fresco from them one time and the guy who works in the dairy and meat section kneel down where I couldn’t see him and cut a piece of queso fresco then stood up again I was distracted for a quick second and when I stood up I seen they guy stand up and asked, “is this ok? And I said to him , I guess I don’t know , you tell me. He said yeah it’s good . I cut a piece as soon as I get home to eat with my breakfast mind you I live across the street from the store so it wasn’t left out the fridge for long. The cheese was bitter , sour and repulsive! The owner son is offensive, my mom and neighbor went there and like they don't know how to read they told the owner son how the lottery ticket looked like and instead of him telling them to tell them to point at the ticket he got impatient and started to hurrying up, oh and not just that one time he started getting mad at my sister cause she didn't know the popcorn was 1.25 and he grabbed the bag of popcorn my sister got and started telling her that it was 1.25 in an angry tone which was rude

They have excellent selection of fresh meats. Their fresh salsa is delicious and their prices are good. I prefer the small mom and pop markets to a big chain grocery store. have been going here for over 20 years.
