El Pescador Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Bell

My wife and I are really picky when it comes to a Molcajete and are pleased to announce this restaurant has a top tier Molcajete. The shrimp were not the tiny 1 inch shrimps. It included 4, two butterfly and two bacon wrapped. The bacon was really crispy, huge plus. The chicken and asada were good quality, none of that grey/discolored low quality garbage that some restaurants cut corners on. The chorizo was great as well, was not that poor quality pork that leaves an after taste. The cheese was delicious. The salsa was pretty great too, I prefer it to be a bit spicier but my wife was happy with it so smiles all around. I will definitely be coming back for another. Really difficult nowadays to find a place with even just a decent molcajete but this Pescador was more than great. Highly recommend!

Not my first time to this restaurant but certainly the last. The service is slow, they hardly check up on you and the food does not come out all together. And if you’re anything like me, you wait until everyone has their food on the table out of courtesy. The food itself is bland looks like they just threw it all together like nothing. And the smell, I couldn’t get through eating because every time I leaned over to eat my food I couldn’t help but smell the cloth which smelled like dirty wet clothes. All this while also seeing the people across from our table complaining to the server about their experience. Overall, horrible. I definitely see why I stopped coming. However, if you are looking for a good , el peacador restaurant, I would recommend going to 9535 Long Beach Blvd, South Gate. Only a few minutes away from this one. I woukd give it a zero if i could to start off i was with my psrents we waited to long and it was just 3 and they were like 4 tables empty and then when we finally sat down a basboy almost threw our chips and the salsa was on the plate wiyh the chips and they spilled all over the chip and then i aksed for a soda and they brought it the first time but then when i asked for a refil they brought it again but itwas the third time i asked for a refil she took my cup and never ruturned and 5 minutes later i called her back and asked her about my soda she said oh yeah let me bring it and she didnt bring it the food oh man the rice was burnt they took 30 minutes to bring 3 plates and then they messed up on my moms order defenitly never going...
