Horizon Park — Attraction in Belleville

Great place to drop your kayak or canoe in the beautiful Bellville Lake. Plenty of space to fish from the shoreline lots of walking space and plenty of room even if it's crowded. There are public docks for boarding and parking your watercraft. I OFFICIALLY caught my 1st walleye this morning while kayaking. There was a lot of noise from the park's grounds maintenance crew and you still get a lot of noise from the town's traffic while out on the water unless you're beyond the adjacent Shoreline . It's a park. It is along the water, and you can see the horizon very well. There are trees, benches, and trash cans. There are very nice sculptures on display from the DIA collection.
