Way better than some options such as Dairy Queen which is more well known. There are plenty of different options, varieties, and the ice cream is delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lines can be crazy at times, but it is worth the wait and they move the line quicker than most fast food places in this area. It is cheaper than Dairy Queen being in Belleville downtown it is easy to get into. A lot of people walk to get ice cream so parking hasn't been an issue surprisingly even if it's packed. People tend to park at the bank next door after bank hours if there is no parking but there is also on the street parking as well. It's one of the better businesses in downtown Belleville and a great reason to go to Downtown Belleville and return there frequently. If you are craving ice cream, flurries, or other types of desserts this is a great location to get good sweets for a good price. This place has a homely feeling and makes you want to return. It is nice to see the staff members appear to be happy and a lot of people tip the employees so they stick around and you get to know a lot of the employees that work there. I would recommend this place to friends or anyone alike. I think that it is one of the best businesses in it's class and one of the things holding downtown Belleville together right now. I have been coming here for over a few years and it has stayed the same quality since the first time I went there. You order outside at a window near the front and pickup your ice cream at a window on the left side of the building. I think it runs relatively smoothly and the lines go fast even when they are super busy. It is super boring even if there is a line because people usually bring their dogs or something interesting is going on downtown that can capture my attention while waiting. Giving this place two stars because I have had good experiences in the past but not yesterday. Yesterday, me and boyfriend both got our own flurry, he got the brownie batter & I got the banana split. I asked the girl ringing us out to put no nuts in that as I have a peanut allergy. She read us our order back and went on her way to make it. Upon receiving the order, I noticed smaller chucks in my flurry, I had assumed that they were just banana pieces but quite to my surprise, after sticking a spoon full into my mouth, it was nuts. I immediately spit them out, my boyfriend went to the order counter, and he asked the girl that rang us out of if there was any nuts in that and she smiled and said yes. But then moments later realized that we had asked for no nuts. They remade it for us without nuts, and the other girls remark was “she’s new here, she doesn’t know” but we clearly said to her at the front counter we wanted no nuts and she still made it with nuts. I ended up having to go to the Urgent Care and got two shots and an Epi-Pen because I could not breathe (throat was closing up) and was having chest pains. I am lucky I went to the Urgent Care when I did because things escalated quickly. I know there is a sign that says “cannot guarantee cross contamination with peanuts” and I have not had any issues in the past, have always asked for no nuts and no allergic reactions but yesterday, that was the time that I had an issue and it almost costed my life if myself and my boyfriend did not...

Im new to this small town and thought the first couple times were pricey but the customer service made up for it! When I went in there today my son was so happy to see the owner because he always gave him smiley face cones. I had a dollar and thought it be no problem for him to give me just an itty bitty squirt of ice cream in the cone since I thought the kiddy size ($1.50) was to big anyway and it would melt. He told me no. He proceeded to tell me he wouldn't do it (the owner) and everybody has a mortgage to pay...right in front of my 3 yr old son and sent us on our way. Now from where I'm from (a small town in Utah) this would have never happened! How could u send a local away disappointed and a 3 yr old sad over .50? I called and was told he was to talk busy to talk about it. I dont expect the menu to change for my sake but whatever happened to that local feel and him just saying hey get it to me next time! I don't think $.50 was going to break his bank... especially when I was asking for...
