Beardmore Event Center of Bellevue — Attraction in Bellevue

I wouldn't recommend this venue to anybody. We choose to have our wedding and reception at this venue. The food arrived late, cake cutter never showed up, the dressing room for my wife close 1.5 hrs before the ceremony began. The final touch to our experience is just like every other couple we had a set budget. We had agreed on this budget with the venue. Upon leaving the venue we confirmed that everything was paid up. 2 days later without notice or warning I got charged an additional $760. It was for a service fee for using their service. Apparently $7000 wasn't enough spent with them. They didn't even have the professionalism to informed me of any additional charges. So most of our wedding money went to pay for this unexpected charge. Great way to start a marriage.

We have worked with the Beardmore Event Center, Courtyard by Marriott and the entire team at this Bellevue location for a number of events and room stays. I received the best service with this most recent event. The staff on site is always incredible, understands what we like, need, etc. and goes above and beyond to ensure our events are perfect. The chef and catering team do an amazing job and the food is always phenomenal! The wait staff, bartenders, and event management are always attentive, available, and willing to do whatever we need before, during, and following our event. This was our first event working with Maddie to plan and coordinate. She was responsive, professional, friendly, and ensured everything was in line, even with our most outrageous requests. Attended a group event here, after which they decided to give our host the runaround, charging extra for not meeting a minimum of alcohol sales(edited after reply in parentheses - after inquiring of the guests it is believed that alcohol sales would have been well above the contract), among other issues. When questioned about issues, and high level management deferred back to lower managers, our concerns were swept under the rug, and staff continued to change their stories of our group.
