Nestled in Bellevue, Indian Metro Spicemart is a culinary oasis offering a diverse array of Indian groceries, fruits, vegetables, and specialty items. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed with its extensive selection and vibrant atmosphere.

Read moreOn Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, I purchased from this grocery store 5 (five) dry coconuts. Then, I brought them home, within hours of purchasing, and opened them up, one by one. Out of 5 (five) dry coconuts, 4 (four) turned out to be completely rotten inside, molded and smelled real bad.
On Thursday, September 30th, 2021, I brought these rotten coconuts back to this grocery store - along with my original receipt. However, the cashiers I spoke to flatly refused to either exchange these rotten coconuts or issue a full refund. I requested them to talk to their manager. The called their manager, but, based on their verbal statement, the latter refused to help us either.
These cashiers were extremely rude. The treated me like I was a newborn, saying things like I "should have been careful selecting coconuts" and "should have kept them refrigerated".
The total cost they owe me is: 4 x $2.49 = $9.96.
It was the worst shopping experience ever.
I have just filed a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau and, tomorrow, I am going to report them to the local authorities for selling...
Read moreI’ve visited this store multiple times and generally appreciate the quality of their fresh produce—it’s usually quite good. However, I’ve consistently noticed that many of the other items, such as spices, ready-mix packets, snacks, and frozen foods, are often very close to their expiry dates, with some products having been manufactured over two years ago. Unfortunately, several of the snacks I purchased tasted stale or off, and I ended up having to throw them away. It’s disappointing, and I hope the store takes more care in regularly updating and rotating their inventory.
It’s really disappointing to see such little regard for customer experience, especially when it comes to something as basic as product freshness. Customers spend their hard-earned money expecting quality and safety, and there’s a moral responsibility on the store’s part to uphold that trust. It’s frustrating when that’s overlooked. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements. 1 star for the...
