WOW! I was amazed by the variety of items and how clean and organized the shop was. They have Persian (Iranian) spices, fruits, rice, tea, frozen foods, cookies, drinks, cheese, and sour stuffs like aloocheh, lavashak. The owner is a very nice lady who has been very helpful in trying to find items and recommending new items. She recommended a Halva to me which was super amazing. I also bought sour cherry drink which was so delicious. They also have dishes such as tea cups and kettles. The shop is quite big and at the back of the shop you can find a whole lot of rice and bread variety. The shop is also very nicely decorated inside and in front of the shop they have planted some lovely Persian flowers. The store had a great vibe and I will be a usual there. I also highly suggest to buy the saharkhiz saffron black tea. Not only it tastes amazing and is caffeinated but also boost the mood by a great difference. The prices are also good and for many of the items they carry various brands (such as cheese, bread, or rice). They also have Persian saffron ice cream. I have lived in USA for 10 years and besides one shop in San Jose and one shop in Berkeley, this is a first time I see such great variety of items. Though this one tops the other two due to cleanliness and being super organized and great decorations. Owner had fresh flowers in a couple of spots inside the shop which made the vibe super lovely. I also really appreciate that all items are marked with price so I don’t have to bother the owner every single time and feel awkward. All in all 10/10 recommend this place. Also, there will be a Persian cafe next to it in about 1 month which will serve Persian fast foods such as Persian hamburgers. P.S. For those who are curious, Vanak is the name of a very famous square and neighborhood in northern Tehran, Iran. It means “small...
