I paid for an expensive bridal hair and makeup trial for myself and my MOH. We spent over $400 on our trial. They were nice enough, but the quality was just not there. Makeup was too heavy and hair was done poorly - it came off within an hour of our trial. My hair extensions were falling out, my MOH's hair was also falling out. Eyelashes fell off. Mind you, this service is supposed to last for an entire wedding day! I cried after we left the appt because it was a little over a month before my wedding - how was I supposed to find anyone else?
I emailed Annetta and politely told her we were unhappy with our trial and would not like to use the artist assigned to me for my wedding. I thought our artist was very nice and kind, just too inexperienced. Annetta responded super apologetic and said that she has access to tons of artists and could assign me a new one. I replied, that would be great, I'd just have to see their portfolio before I book another trial - and then she GHOSTED ME.
The icing on the cake was the day of my wedding she sent me this email about how "Although you didn't go with us on your special day, I hope you have a beautiful wedding..." it was a long email. Mega eye-roll on that one.
I ended up going with The Bridal Glam Group in Rockford. They have a reasonable travel fee to the Beloit area and their makeup was absolutely stunning. Way more professional and high quality. I'm lucky they had an artist available for me at such...

I made my appointment Friday 12/12 for Tuesday 12/17 at 3pm with Kayla Gillenwater. Immediately it said the appointment needed “acceptance”. I saw they were open all day Saturday and Monday and figured it would be accepted (or denied) during those business hours. So I watched my email each day. By Monday there was no word so I reached out via Vagaro messaging and asked for the status of my appt. - I never received a response. So Tuesday (today) I called the listed number for the salon at 11:25am. No answer, I left a message. I then sent a text (it was stated to do so via voicemail recording) at 11:29am. The atmosphere is chill, the waiting area during processing is comfortable and I really feel like it's an entire experience. I would like to tell everyone I know that they should definitely be going to Haute for their beauty needs....
