Okay...to start my expectations were not high going into the theater based off of prior reviews on Facebook and here.
But all I can say is this was the best theater experience I have had and my kids are still talking about it.
Parking is the tricky part, very limited. But one most also consider your in the downtown area and walking may be a requirement but it is not a long walk at all.
We entered on the east side which is the bar area, it was not packed when we entered but when the movie let out it was fairly packed, yet still easy to maneuver around.
We had no issues finding the right room or seats there are large signs over the doors and seats have the numbers on the trays (tables). We were met promptly by two ladies who took us to our seats and took drink orders. There was atleast four waiters/waitresses during most of the movie and they kept busy.
We did not order any dinner items, nor did I see anyone else in the audience most had the traditional popcorn/soda. Pricing compared to other theaters is on par and honestly less expensive than I thought. Dinner foods would set you back $12-17 probably, soda $4-5, beer $6-8. We had a combo which is a large popcorn, two fountain drinks and a candy which was $21
My suggestion is to order outside at the concession stand, you get the paper cup so you can take it with you when you leave, whereas ordering inside they give you the restaurant style plastic cup. I just alway like to get a beverage for the road and more bang for the buck : )
Seats were comfortable, if you have a bad movie they would be great to sleep in ! They are alittle narrow for bigger people such as myself, and had to watch my feet with others when they were walking the isle.
Overall all this theater was great! Customer Service was great, movie was good. We are already going to try and plan a trip to see Star Wars there and frequent...
Read moreTook the kids and their friends to see the Minecraft movie tonight. $65 dollars for all our tickets together. Seats were next to a group of middle schoolers who acted like toddlers the whole movie. Screaming, literally screaming their unfunny comments throughout the whole movie while also, not as loudly but audible enough to heard by myself and the kids down the row, saying obscenities. Staff came and talked to the kids and warned them once. They quieted down for a bit but then continued their antics throughout the rest of the movie. One kid was routinely on his phone with the volume on as well. Listen, these kids didn’t ruin the Minecraft movie for me because 1) I’m not a child and 2) that movie was atrociously unfunny enough on its own. But, they did ruin it for my kids and their friends and they robbed me of a peaceful, enjoyable evening of taking my family to the movies. The fact that staff and management did nothing about this but warn them once is appalling. I understand that when you’re a teenage staff member and you’re telling another teenager to not do something it’s weird and awkward, but you’re telling me, in a place that serves alcohol, that there’s not an adult around who can come in and handle situations like this and escort them out? I tried to let this one slide because there’s no hope for this next generation of kids anyway when they idolize things like Minecraft and all the other horrendous creations of our time so you can’t expect them to act any better as we’ve let them grow up in this cesspool of depravity and attention-seeking we call a culture, but when I spend $65 of my money and get this storm of annoyance and disturbance of my sanity at the supposedly NICE movie theater in town, you can bet that everyone is gonna hear about it since I was forced to listen to screeching insanity...
Read moreThere are some really good things about this theater and we do enjoy most of it, however the parts that are lacking really do affect the whole experience. We love the food at this place. So much so that sometimes we go to movies we don’t really care to see just to dine here and have the experience. A few weeks ago when we came, food wasn’t an option to order due to summer hours for the restaurant. We purposely didn’t eat that day because we were going to eat at the movie. This was not communicated before purchasing tickets. Once tickets had been purchased then it is disclosed in the email. When we got there we were pretty annoyed that the only food to eat was popcorn. Today we go to the movie and we are in theater 3. We have only ever watched movies in theater 1 and 2, so we assumed the seats were the same. Sadly, they weren’t. The seats we had today didn’t recline. Since the theater is so small and close to the screen, my neck hurt the entire time and we were uncomfortable. We do enjoy this place because it is clean, upscale, good location, and the food is amazing. However, I do feel the communication with the customer is lacking. 1) offer food every day and 2) get reclining seats for every theatre. We do enjoy coming here, but the last 2 times we have been have left us frustrated and considering going somewhere else where we know things...
