Plaza 1 Flea Market — Attraction in Berkeley Township

I have lived in the area of this mall for 10 years. While the flea market is a good attempt to bring them some business, it is a horrible rancid place. Besides Santander Bank, who has a very friendly staff and is very accommodating, this place is despicable. When you walk out of your car you are not sure whether you will make it to the door because the environment seem predatory. There was a homeless woman living out of her car there for several years and no one did anything about it. The few stores that are there that are open or pathetic. Ordered from the pizza place I needed to use the restroom. He told me it was not open to the general public can you use the one in the mall. As many times in the past it was either closed or pathetically filthy. The man at the pizza place used expletives when I cancel the order. It has been in the media that it has been sold and will be redone. Still waiting for that to happen. Flea markets are okay, but there are never any bargains, they are lame. Ocean first used to have a branch there and when I went to the branch on bandimere drivethey told me that the reason they left the mall was because of the outrageous lease prices. Whoever owns this place should be ashamed. They would probably do well if they made some attempt to bring it into the current market, but when you have lease spaces that are out of reach no one will move there. To the Senior communities surrounding this place go someplace else!
