By now I’m sure everyone has eaten at IHOP and as their own opinion of the place, but In case you’ve been living under a rock or in some rural hicktown among inbreeders (kidding, of course) here is my review:
I love IHOP almost as much as my kids do. Even though I always leave there somewhat hungry still since you don’t get that much food, what you do get is always delicious. I love that they always have specials and limited time things which keeps the menu from getting stale. I’m the kind of person that likes to try different things on the menu every time I go and I have never had a bad dish. Not everything was always as good as it sounded/looked like on the menu, but I’ve never left disappointed. Their pancakes are always great and they have so many different types there’s sure to be something for everybody. I LOVE their banana foster French toast and their stuffed French toast!! Just make sure not to go around 10am on sundays. That’s when church gets out and apparently everyone goes right from church to IHOP. Normally there isn’t much of a wait, but Sunday mornings could have you waiting an hour or more. Last time I was there, a homeless man was sitting at the table next to us and all he had was coffee. I like that the waitress didn’t try to rush him out, she was very polite and made sure his cup was always filled. Before I had the chance to do it, another family sitting nearby came over and offered to buy the man breakfast, which was very nice. It shows that there are still good people in this world.
If you’ve never been to IHOP or it’s been a long time since you last went, you really should go. It’s just as good on a Saturday morning as it is when you’re drunk, looking for a place to eat on your way home from...
Read moreThe server Christina who attended to us TRULY made the experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she introduced themselves with a warm smile and exuded a level of professionalism and friendliness that immediately put me at ease. She took the time to engage in friendly conversation, asking if it was our first time visiting or if we had any favorite items from the menu, which made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.
What stood out the most was her attentiveness—never hovering, but always appearing just when we needed her. She anticipated our needs without us having to ask, whether it was refilling our drinks, offering a quick check-in to make sure everything was perfect, or even offering suggestions for items to try based on our preferences. Her recommendations were spot on, and it was evident she was genuinely passionate about the food she was serving.
She was also incredibly patient when I asked about customizing my order as I am a very picky eater. She made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it, offering creative solutions and always with a positive, can-do attitude. It felt like nothing was too much trouble for her.
Not only was the service top-notch, but the server’s personality added such an enjoyful touch to our meal. Her kindness and upbeat energy truly enhanced the overall experience, and I left feeling like I had received more than just great food—I had received fantastic service that made me excited to come back. Her attention to detail and ability to make both me and my husband feel special is a rare quality and one that made this visit unforgettable. I never write reviews but I was genuinely impressed! You should have more servers like her! Thank...
Read moreWent today with my family. We sat down at the table and waited about 10-15 minutes for our waiter. He was very friendly, but very much overwhelmed with stress. We ordered and he brought us our drinks. We ordered our food and he had everything written correctly on the slip and I do understand it was lunchtime at 1pm. He brought us our food and half out our order was not correct. It was not his fault at all. He passed everyone food out and asked us if we needed anything and my fiancé and my sisters food were not right so he explained that the cooks just told him that they ran out of what was supposed to be part of our orders. Instead of telling us before hand the cooks should have told him before he placed the order so we could have desired on something different, but no they told him as he handed out our food. Not only did it take a half of an hour just to see my salad. The people next to us who came in later then us had received their food and went on our way and we still didn’t see anything yet. The hostess/manager I guess came over and was like well do you still want the food or no? My fiancé said well a chicken fried steak usually comes with gravy and the one they gave him definitely didn’t have any on it. Really? What was the point of asking that? The communication and management suck in that place. This lady was not polite at all. My sister ordered crapes with bananas on it. Well it was just a bunch of flattened dough. Nearly even cooked. We left unsatisfied. Not right. I will not...
