I moved to Marlborough 5 yrs ago and been here about 7 times the most as we usually enjoy Netflix because can't afford to come often but the times I have been here had only one issue for a problem with a movie don't remember but it had to be with the movie one of the first 3 times we went.Dont remember the manager name but for the inconvenience he gave us another movie tickets for a next time.I lost one that save it not too long ago. Then we went a a couple times and for last time on Wednesday June 15, 2022 after days of qualifying for free tickets from the Apple Bee Restaurant thru fandango for which I had to go there(Regal) to ask how to do it as I was kind of lost and following all instructions for some unknown reason even tho had the codes...couldn't complete transaction.I got 3 and we were 4 so had to buy one thru them(fandango) it was an horrible experience. But once we show up and explain with screenshots to the manager Michael he went beyond expectations even tho basically Regal have nothing to do with the Apple Bees and fandango online problem. That day my boyfriend had his day off from work, my daughter who came visiting is leaving on saturday, my son was off from school, etc.Point is that we had planned to have a family day out at theater for the Maverick movie as ticket was only for that one without knowing if it was going to be a good movie but was supposed to be almost free for hole family without expecting transaccion to be incomplete and the fandango team was going to answer me within 72 hrs which was going to make imposible our family date. But Michael make it happened for same movie and we don't regret. Was a great movie that everyone should see as it has a powerdull message about letting go, team work and not putting a weight in our shoulders when we did give our bests. The theater was cleaning, staff attentive, bathroom cleaning and the atmosphere nice as usual. My daughter who has autism was very happy and we all enjoy that family quality time very much.Thank you so much Michael!Keep up the good work and being understandable, good manager, just human.May God bless you and multiply you what you...
Read moreHandicapped accessibility is what my reviews are about, and I wasn't impressed one bit. ! keep seeing here that you are responding to reviews which is nice, but "what say" you add some darn employees so that your moviegoers feel like they aren't in some sort of sci fi film??? (Before I go further though, the employees were wonderful.given the fact they have to be guides, attendance, and sell food at the same time, all that I met were very very accommodating.) I'll tell you why, you don't want to have to pay them!! don't you care about your elderly, mobility-impaired, handicapped viewers? The handicapped parking is there, but one must traverse a curb to get to the front door of the theater, and there's only about 10 spaces for the entire 15 odd theaters!!!! This is a huge area of space, ( unused, WHY NOT ADD HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE RAILS INSIDE OR OUT??? NOT ONE!!! ) Just to get to the front counter of the concession stand from the front door is an incredibly long walk. There are no attendants at all to help handicapped moviegoers, nobody standing around to see if you need help at all, there was one kid sitting at a tiny little table stand checking tickets.(I slipped by him five times he never even saw me, one could easily get in without paying) NO EMPLOYEES at all to be seen other than selling overpriced food!!!( Popcorn is horrible)!!!
.. theater itself was pretty well lit, (one rather feels like one is an airplane on a landing strip, but still lit.)..the seats are comfortable but not what they should be considering the price of tickets and food. ( I see here that you whacked me with a dollar 50 fee for tickets online? But it saves you money, not me if I order tickets online!! Get RID of it!) (and don't even get me started on how complicated that is, unless you are some sort of computer whiz) . I chose to call the actual customer service phone number and have the rude customer service man condescend me through the process.(I had them on speakerphone and three of my family members listening said to me "that's a customer...
Read moreI HATE the new arranged seating policy. It’s understandable if it’s a small dine in theater with nicer seats and food service but this is ridiculous. It should be first first come first serve. Never had I such an unpleasant experience at a theater- this experience truly ruined the movie going experience because most of the people did not sit in the assigned seat (yeah I understand that they HAD TO CHOOSE WHEN PURCHASING THE TICKET) however most ended up choosing better seats that were empty therefore throwing off others peoples seating who came later. I had to sit in a seat that wasn’t mine because other people took my seat which I didn’t mind but it then causes issues for those that try to abide by the system. I UNDERSTAND that this is every regal location now, therefore I will no longer go to this branch of theaters. I’d rather enjoy the movie Expedia’s if should be PLEASANT and part of the movie experience is finding that right seat to enjoy the movie. Whoever thought this was a good idea should really think about their choice. We pay for the ticket we choose when to arrive, and we should have the freedom of movement to sit wherever we would like. And the poor employees who have to force this new system spoke with candor to me about how terrible this transition has been. I heard people fighting and clearly not happy over this- many were separated from their families in this arrangement and quite a few demanded for a refund- and or just walked out. I give this ZERO STARS because this is NOT the way to encourage people to enjoy the Cinema. Hopefully enough people feel the same way for them to go back to how it was. Literally the worst movie experience I’ve ever had. And the worst part is the theater wasn’t full and the movie had been out for over a month now. Like seriously you’re going to tell me I have to sit in a assigned seat when a better one that wasn’t available on the screen - ended up actually being empty the entire film. OKAY whatever I’ll just take my...
