If I could give his place a negative I would. Prior to my appointment I received a voicemail from Haley the day before asking if I could change my 10:15am appt. to 11:30am for staffing changes. I called back and confirmed that I could. I get there the day of my appointment at 11:15 for my 11:30 appt. They check me in and give me a robe and place in me in the waiting area. I wait for an hour and finally decided to go and ask the front desk around 12:15pm what was my first treatment. The girl at the desk said my massage does not start until 12:30. I explained that my appointment was at 11:30 and she says I never had an appointment for you for 11:30. This was a little disturbing and I had things to do later that day so I went and got dressed. after getting dressed I asked again and the girl at the desk explained she does not see where my appointment was ever for 11:30. So I pulled up the voicemail that Haley left and let her hear the message reiterating that the appointment was rescheduled for 11:30 and she just looked and stated that her manager did all the changes. I also could not understand why would you check me in at 11:15 for a 12:30 appointment??? I kindly explained that I was not upset at her but disappointed that I waited an hour with no services. I also asked to speak with the manager and she said the owner left 30 mins ago and would be back. I kindly asked for a phone call which I never got. Also I explained my husband booked a 2 hour spa treatment for me which is well over $300 and she could not even tell me if he would still be charged. Terrible customer service. After she heard the voicemail it was evidence that this was not our mistake. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was less than professional especially for the prices. Lastly, this was supposed to be a birthday surprise and they called me instead of my husband to change the schedule the day before. I really wanted to like this place. However, the customer service was horrible. For prices like this people should be trained. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this place needs to be given a 5-star review. I’ve been going to spa haus for about a year and I must say, this place pays attention to detail and gives the perfect spa experience. From the moment you walk in, you are immediately greeted by very kind and personable individuals. Every receptionist I’ve encountered has been splendid. The relaxation room is one of my favorite parts about the experience- second to the massage. It is beautifully decorated with a dimly lit atmosphere paired with a calming soundtrack; it provides the perfect space to dial down before a session. I’ve been going to Nico for a couple years now and I must say, he is the absolute best!!! I refuse to go to anyone else. In addition to his professionalism, kindness, and expertise, he listens carefully to my requests and executes them efficiently. I’ve had back and shoulder discomfort for years and ever since I’ve been getting regular massages from him, it has helped significantly. I’ve recommended him to plenty of others because I trust in his expertise and technique. They ALL have said that it was one of the best massages they’ve ever received as well. I love this spa and I am grateful to have found such an incredible massage therapist.
