Market District Pharmacy — Attraction in Bethel Park

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Never on time. Always and issue with computer or going down, they deleted my insurance, slow, rude. Want you to call for your own prior authorization for scripts. I have called to make sure things are ready for pick up and info was correct .. they said it was. When I got there she said they had a problem with insurance and didn't save my info ( which was not with me Bc I called to make sure I didn't need it) and and wouldn't give me the medicine without paying full price( not a lot of money believing I didn't needed it due to prior call) or said I could just get them another time when I was MORE prepared as of it was my fault. Waited 3 hours on 4 different occasions for medicine that was to be ready in 30 minutes and only gave me half of one of the medicine and gave wrote and iou on the bottle and bag of another without telling me. By far the WORST pharmacy in the Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair area. They never have a prescription ready when they are supposed to, you constantly have to go back and retry to get it filled- even after calling ahead or stopping in and getting a wait time from their delinquent staff. Speaking of the staff they are rude and they are slow. Worst part is that they know they have bad customer service and are unwilling to do anything to make their pharmacy better. Even when the doctor asks us where we have our scripts filled they say they’re sorry that we go to Giant Eagle Market District Pharmacy. So their reputation still holds true, don’t waste your time while your sick.

By the way- I am writing this whole thing while I wait for the 3rd time to have a prescription filled in their drive...

I have been filling a prescription at this pharmacy for at least five years. Without telling me they switched the manufacturer and the medication does not work. I called to return it and they told me that by law they’re allowed to do whatever they want with regards to switching generics and that I was up the creek. They didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me that they switched my medication when I came to pick it up. The guy basically told me to take a hike. Absolutely terrible! I will never...
