Michaels — Local services in Bethel Park

My boyfriend and I are very familiar with this particular Michaels craft store. It's at the waterfront in Pittsburgh. Which is our favorite place to shop when we're in Pittsburgh because it's so convenient everything's right where you need it to be but then walking distance there's a ross, t.j Maxx, Lowe's. So what we like about this Michael's the most are the employees. They're very helpful, and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. In fact one of their employees a few months back, I believe her name was Vanessa, don't quote me I'm not positive... I had forgotten my coupon for 20% off and our order was very large as it usually is.... And this sweet girl used her coupon on our order for us depriving herself of her own coupon to help out a customer and brought our order down by almost $160! Never has enough workers on shift and the result is moody and unhelpful workers due to being stressed and overworked.

I'm not sure if the male manager still works there but he treats his staff very disrespectfully and speaks down to them.

On top of that they take forever getting out of stock items in stock. I've been waiting to purchase an item for 2 weeks now and they still haven't come in, I had to cave and pay shipping and order it online. They also don't take rainchecks on sales items, which they never have in stock. Hence why I had to purchase online.

If there was another craft store nearby I would go there anyday over this Michael's. Every time I visit this store I come out frustrated and...

Good place if you need something for a quick art project or something but I think they must be under new management or something because every time I go into this store to pick up an online order. I get a weird feeling I’m being watched by the manager that works there and the last time I was there, I was looking at some of the seasonal decor and it seemed like a worker was following me around. You’re better off just buying it online and picking it up in store because I think they have something against people that have a big purse or backpack on them.
