This year was better than last year. And I think it's so admirable that the surrounding neighborhood citizens are kind enough to allow people to park their cars in their yards to park and walk into the park. It was very hot and we had to park and walk 2 blocks. So I just wanted to comment on the people for allowing everyone to park in their yards. Good supporting your community.

Nice park, could have been a little cleaner, trash cans were overflowing. Nice walk but couldn't go too far cause it was about °94 in the morning.

Bullitt Park is the main park in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. There is a delightful kiddies section filled with teeter-totters, sliding boards, monkey bars and water fountains; there's a baseball diamond complete with cheering stands; a canteen that opens for home games; a walk within the baseball section and another scenic path for walking that goes all around the whole town; several covered picnic areas for crowds: for homecomings or just plain old get togethers with friends; there are beautiful shade trees and comfortable grassy areas that make you want to take your shoes off and be a kid again. The town's crews have been there recently sprucing up the areas. So, come Spring the Park will take your breath away. I'll be at the second picnic area munching on a piece of home fried...

Splash pad was a good addition. Very clean and safe 3 mile walking/running/cycling paved trails. Nice to walk after dark and very well lit up. In recent years they've started having different lights and decorations around the Christmas months. Also has descent baseball/softball fields when you're allowed on them, honestly has been a little frustrating as a parent and coach to not be able to utilize them to just take my son to practice a little on our own. Whether during season or not, there seems to usually be some reason they don't want individuals and even teams to utilize for practice. That's been very disappointing to...

Bullitt Park was alot nicer than I thought, there was no trash around to look at, which was nice. They had a beautiful walking/running track to use around the field. Pavillion's to use if you have a party or a crowd, and a football field to play in with bleachers. There is also a splash pad there for the kids to get wet, and the park had something fun to do for everyone, which was perfectly awesome!! They also had real bathrooms for the public to use, which was great! We enjoyed this park very much and give it a nine...
