Highlight- Worst customer service team of all time. Gave me the biggest runaround of my life just trying to get my order. Acted like I was stupid for asking reasonable questions about what they were doing. Hint! What they were doing absolutely made no sense and I was right the whole time. Big waste of time. I would leave zero stars if it was possible. The list of things that went wrong simply buying a desk is too long to write. Every single associate was rude and completely dysfunctional as a team. I have worked in retail for a long time, and I know how it goes. This was genuinely the worst team of people I have ever experienced. The sales associates, floor managers, and people at the billing desk were completely awful. Rude, uncoordinated, didn't know what to do with a simple order, and treated me like I was stupid for asking questions. Wasted over and hour and multiple trips in the car sending me a warehouse that was abandoned and never had my item in it in the first place. When I finally got my order after many, many mistakes in the process, they loaded the wrong products and no one noticed. I checked myself and caught the error. When they packed my correct order, they insisted that the chair I paid for already was not included. It was a fight to even get my products that I paid for, and the process of just getting them into my car was unbelievably convoluted and confusing. They had me go to different buildings and park in several spots around the store. Truly insane experience. Everything was so botched and miscommunicated amongst the team that I was actually in shock. I never ever leave reviews, and I have never been rude to a customer service worker because I'm in the industry and I know how it is. I maintained civility with this team but it was the only time in my life that it was a struggle to stay composed with a customer service worker. The single and only one silver lining to this experience is a woman named Emily who was absolutely lovely, kind, and helpful. She was the only person who cared at all about me as a customer and was very apologetic about how her team mishandled everything so terribly. From April 2021 to now I have been totally ignored and forgotten it seems by the Conlin's Furniture Store in Billings, MT. I haven't received any direction or compensation for a Montage Protection Plan which I paid an additional $250 when purchasing a Conlin Furniture leather chair. I had been assured by the sales person Jesse that the chair would be repaired if the cat I owned were to damage it if I paid the extra $250. Altogether I paid close to $3300.00 for the furniture that day. In April of this year I submitted a claim and despite countless calls to both Conlin's Furniture and Montage Protection I am not getting anywhere with repair to my chair or at the very least a refund of the worthless Montage Protection Plan. At this point I just want my money back, the $250.00 for the chair and the $250.00 for the sofa that I insured with this incredibly bogus plan. All summer I attempted to contact representatives from both Conlin's Furniture and Montage Protection Plan. I had people come to my house and take pictures, I took pictures, I went on the Montage website and did all that was required by their agency and still nothing has come of it. I distinctly tired of calling the staff at Conlin and what's really sad is no one will return my calls. I am just an annoyance it seems. So here is my complaint and just think twice before considering a "protection plan" is my recommendation. Read moreVery disappointed… we purchased a mattress here a year ago now and we hate it. We were first told our window for returns on mattresses was 30 days so before that time was up we went back in to return it because it was just too hard. (We had gone in looking for a mattress softer than our current.) We told them that ours felt nothing like the floor model one we had tried, but they said to give it another couple months to break in and if it still wasn’t what we wanted to come back in because they would return it. Well after another almost 2 months (as suggested) we went in still hating our mattress and we were told that they couldn’t do anything because it was past the return time, still assuring us that the mattress will soften up and to give it time. They even recommended having kids jump around in it if we could. Well here we are now a year later, about to start the hunt for yet another new mattress because this one is just too hard and I am tired of not getting a comfortable sleep. Apparently we need to stick with a company that will stick with what they say, or back up their claims with a 365 day trial like some offer.
