Dillards use to be such a great store. Ever since they got a new store manager it seems to have gone down hill these last few years! They are also extremely racist too in my opinion. I went in to buy my boyfriends favorite cologne for his birthday…while browsing I overheard a few of the employees (an older Caucasian woman with short blonde hair and glasses) talking about how shes sick of having to watch ALL the natives and how she dreads it when she sees them coming... (I’m Caucasian) so maybe she thought it was ok or something speaking so loud??? Anyways the other employee agreed and laughed about it but it also did not make sense to me cause the other employee she was talking to looked native herself! (She was tall & really skinny with dark hair & brown skin.. she could have easily been Mexican though too) When the blonde older woman noticed me looking at them with disgust.. she only then finally came to check on me.. & the other gave me a snotty look LIKE I WAS IN THE WRONG..she then walked out the men’s store. I didn’t even want to buy anymore. So I just let her know I was only looking and still she stood there talking so much where I couldn’t even get a word in! It took me like 15 minutes just to finally leave with how much she kept talking and cutting me off. It made me feel so sad for the natives who actually shop there because I’m sure these two aren’t the only one who have said or think like that because I have heard all the horrible racism stories about Dillards, but have never witnessed until today. I’m definitely disappointed and will no longer be supporting them...
Read moreIf I had the option to I’d leave zero stars. Nothing in that store is worth the way they treated my husband. Sure all of the sales associates were eager to get me a fitting room but when I got one no one would come check up and see if I needed help, fortunately (or unfortunately) I had my husband there who I invited into the fitting room to please help me find a new size of a specific product I was trying on. He gladly went to grab me a new size and stayed in the room to see if I would need a new one (since the sales associates weren’t doing their jobs). I guess this bothered a sales rep who went to go grab the manager and very rudely told my husband he can’t be near the fitting room or inside the fitting rooms. I understand a store like Dillards has a policy and I’m not asking them to change it but being previous customers it never once occurred to any of their sales reps to inform us KINDLY of this policy. All can at I they profiled us because we weren’t sympathetic and called the manager and security for our “suspicious” behaviour. The manager who just about broke the door trying to get into my fitting room and very rudely and condescendingly informed us of this BS. Ps the 70 year old security guard they sent wouldn’t have been able to do her job if we actually...
Read morePainful, Horrific experience! I went for a haircut (& wash, of course) but, the "hairdresser, TANYA," used "something" that "Burned My Scalp." I repeatedly asked her to wash it out, but she said she wasn't going to. I had to ask for a manager. The manager FINALLY used something else but, it Didn't help at all. Then, she sprayed my hair (with what she said) was a balancer (whatever it's called) but, that Only Made The Pain Much WORSE. I politely let them know (As TEARS Were Streaming Down My Face) that they needed to get this out bc it was "Burning" very badly. But, then the manager tried blaming me saying that the hairdresser is so stressed out bc of me. If she was stressed out, it's bc "She Knew She Did Wrong" with whatever the hell she put on my head!!! I went to the doctor "immediately," and he said that my hair looked like when after getting a "perm!" Is this what you all's hair looks like after going for a cut at an expensive salon? Or, any salon, period? Hell NO! I Voice Recorded the conversations, so, they can tell whatever lies they want but, I Have Proof!!! Somebody told me they probably used a stripper, but, could have been something even more harmful...
