Hungry and new to the area, i was hungry, and after reading the reviews for this place, I decided to give it a shot.

The service was great. Loved the atmosphere. To'raya, the young lady that served me was friendly and very professional.

Nice laid-back setting. Clean. Tv on the wall. Quiet area.

I ordered 6 wings fried hard with hot honey BBQ sauce on the side. Also, a whitening 2 PC sandwich.

The wings were cooked to exact order. Hot fresh and crispy. The sauce wasn't really hot but was decent.

But the fish was a huge disappointment. Even though I requested it to be fried hard. There was little to no actual fish. Instead, it was mostly crispy batter. Wasn't really seasoned all that good either.

Not to mention, the pieces were tiny, as if it was fillet, was cut into pieces, and fried. No fish flesh if you know what I mean.

Honestly, if I had eaten there, I would've requested my money back, but I didn't feel like driving my truck back there again.

$8.68 for the sandwich was way overpriced. But that's my opinion.

I'd order the wings again but definitely skip...

I recently visited this restaurant after hearing positive remarks and chose to bypass several other establishments to dine here. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I paid over $17 for an order that included unseasoned okra and four pieces of whiting fish, which were overcooked and tough, resembling the texture of overdone steak, and lacked seasoning.

The highlight of the meal was the “Jon Jon” punch—a refreshing blend of peach punch, fruit punch, and lemonade. However, the service was less than satisfactory; the individual who took my order appeared distracted and preoccupied, though she was polite.

The only reason I gave 3 stars is because there is a cashier that comes later in the evening that does everything from playing in his hair to tying his shoes without sanitizing or washing his hands and then turns around and handles food and drinks. Last time I came he was training someone and she was doing the exact same thing. Other than that it would 5 stars. The food is amazing.
