Sasquatch Casino — Attraction in Black Hawk

My wife and I used to think this was the best place/value in town. Our first visit was pre-covid and we had a great time there. The two times we've been back, there's alwsys been an issue. We like playing table top at the bar and we find the machines either have mechanical issues or they are being played by industry workers or their employees off shift. This past trip it took 15 min to get acknowledged at the bar even though I counted 6 employess working behind the bar with only 4 of the 8 spots at the bar being occupied. My machine froze up and my beer was empty. Nobody noticed even though I tried using eye contact rather than the annoying "excuse me" line, when the bartenders walked by. I did get a hold of one of them to come fix it- then 2, then 3 of them. Apparently it's a known issue and they can't figure it out. I asked the lady to cash me out so I can leave and she snapped at me saying "what do you think were trying to do?" I simply replied that she can manually pay me out so I can be on my way and they can fix/close down the machine. She walked away and advised another employee and pointed to me and told him " watch him, he's a real charmer". It appeard that I was on notice with management for a potential 86. GIVE ME A BREAK. This is a difficult review to write, I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I enjoyed a few trips up every month. What happened to me today is unacceptable and I will never step foot in this casino again. They were short staffed and forgot to even cook my father's chicken, instead the employee got angry with him. My dad waited patiently for over 30 minutes. This escalated until I talked with 2 managers that were both extremely rude. Instead of rectifying the situation and apologizing the staff attack me and my father. I have never been treated this badly in a business!! The manager was cussing at both me and my dad. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. The situation ended with me talking to a higher up manager, who said she would comp the chicken meal that we had been waiting an hour for, but that's all she could do. SHE REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR MISTAKE. It really saddens me to write a review like this, but the treatment is unacceptable and unprofessional!! I used to like this as Sasquatch until the other day they drew my name for A drawing. We have been Customers for years and very loyal ones at that. They wanted my social security number and my license, provided them with both, although my social security number did not come from the card itself but from me signing into my turbotax and that was not good enough in their book. I honestly don't know who the heck carries their actual social security card in their wallet or their purse that is very dangerous. I have been paid real Hand pays of over $1200 there without providing my actual social security card but merely telling them what my social security number is and that was good enough. But for this drawing they had on Friday it wasn't good enough. Then to make matters worse they say over the intercom that the drawn name did not provide the correct information. Which was a total lie! I was so disappointed and embarrassed in how the Sasquatch treated me that we left and we will not go ever again. Shameful on their part to treat LOYAL CUSTOMERS...
