It's one of the most complete parks in the town of Bloomfield. It has basketball courts, tennis courts, handball courts, a softball field and a play grounds section for smaller children. It even has restrooms for both men and women. The surprising fact about the park is that it packed in those sports sections all in about the size of a football field, give or take some yardage. I've seen kids from 4 year olds to high school age boys and girls practice soccer on the softball end of the field. With the right design, I can imagine a couple of small size soccer pitches that could be nicely laid out so some official soccer games for U 12s and under could cooperatively be scheduled against out side competition. I would respectfully encourage the town's heads to evaluate my suggestion to see if even a more functional experience the townspeople could have for their younger ones. The lights combes on about an half hour before sunset which is good for those who wants to play at night but they do turn off about 10bish.
