Zi Zia Pizzeria & Trattoria — Restaurant in Bloomfield

My wife and I have been ordering from Zi Zia since they first opened. At first they were good and for a while there they were the only pizzeria that would we would order from. The food was consistently good. we would even order the catering for when we had company. it started with the last time we had ordered pizzas to be delivered for company. When the pizza's got here they were destroyed. They were slid to one side of the box. Then after that incident we had ordered from them two more times and both times they messed up our order by giving us either the wrong food or the quality just wasn't that good. So it's been awhile since we ordered from them last, but we decided to give them a try today. We ordered two 12-in pizzas one with extra cheese and one all pepperoni. when I picked it up the one was extra cheese and the other one was only half pepperoni. Then when we we're ready to eat it The pizza wasn't even cut properly so it made a huge mess. and the taste of the pizza was just not as good as it was in the beginning when they first opened the sauce was very bland. Very disappointing. definitely would not recommend anymore and we're not going to be ordering...

I use to like the pizza never a big fan of the sandwiches I got a meatball parmigiana sandwich it had meatballs that didn’t look like meatballs they were mushy and gritty I honestly think they forgot to cook them the sauce and cheese was so salty they even burned some of my bread the large cheese pizza was salty and runny the slices where missed cut and the cheese uneven and the crust thicker on one side I honestly should have called and complained but it was late what a waste oh my husbands double Italian hotdog had more onions than anything and very greasy. After 4 years of getting pizza from here the last year has been horrible but I kept buying now I’m done not too mention that whenever I mentioned about my husbands seafood and mushroom allergy they act like I’m lying and I did get a pizza that had one little mushroom mixed in it and I complained they apologized and said next time free one free topping had my husband eaten that he would have been in the hospital Thank you zi zia but I think our...

Great food. Good pizza, good specials and wings, and can't find anything bad to say about the food or menu, other than I dont really prefer to get my sandwiches here. (Or really any spots in Bloomfield, sadly) But I took away a star, with certainty for the service. The counter help and front end staff and the young ladies working there seem to be carefree and have an attitude, they are never smiling and welcoming and seem to always be complaining about one another as soon as the other one leaves and they seemed rather helpless as you have to be standing there waiting sometimes just for their brains to turn on to get help or sent on your way. At first I thought it was a few isolated incidents, but when I go there with friends or even become acquainted with other customers waiting, they all say the same thing.
