Leap 2 Learning Childcare Center — Local services in Bloomfield

Let me start with the facility first. The daycare is immaculate! The entry has the cubby’s and a “waiting area” where parents sit to wait for our little ones. I find this incredibly considerate and helpful when my hands are full. The children’s art work are all displayed in their own folders for parents to take home. When the children arrive they all take their shoes off and place them in their own cubby’s. I LOVE THIS! As my little one puts everything in his mouth it’s good to know dirt and debris doesn’t make its way into the floors they play in. The girls, more like angels ! Are incredible! Everyone one of them have put any anxiety of mine to rest. As a first time mom paranoia gets the best of me, but with these girls I feel so good leaving my baby in their care. From the moment my son sees the daycare his excitement and eagerness to go in fills my heart with comfort and joy. They way they interact with him is nurturing and he takes to them very easily. I know my son is very aware as i saw his hesitation and fear in a previous daycare (of course I took him out of this daycare immediately) at Leap 2 Learning this has never been the case. He enters the classroom and doesn’t turn once to see me leave. He is so happy and eager to enter he doesn’t say bye to his momma.

They are great with picky eaters like my son. As Rose says “they never leave the daycare with empty stomachs” if he doesn’t eat a certain meal I send him food and they prepare his meals for him.

Oo and they use an APP to tell you what your child does throughout the day. Just the cherry on top.

I whole heartedly recommend this daycare, from one first time paranoid momma to another.

I work remotely and had been struggling to care for my infant son in between meetings and calls. While I knew I needed to put him in daycare, I was apprehensive to trust anyone other than myself and my husband, with my then 5 months old.

I must have called/visited every childcare center in the surrounding area. The moment I visited Leap 2 Learning, I knew this was the right place for him. Rose and Myriam made me feel at ease. The entire staff is so friendly, caring and seems to truly love what they do. They go above and beyond to make the kids feel at home. My elementary school daughter went there there during her Christmas and she loves it. She said it’s like a big happy family.

Full disclosure, I am a friend of the owner and she did NOT ask me to leave a review. I only gave this place a shot because she's a friend, I STAYED because it's amazing. The workers LOVE the kids, and my kids LOVE them. Like seriously love them. My children have fun stories for days about their time at the center. Also, as a parent, Leap 2 Learning takes out ALL of the guess work. I don't have to pack even a grain of rice. Meals, snacks, covered. And not the, what are you feeding my kids meals either. My children do have a special diet, and they cater to it all. The children receive group care that feels individualized if that makes sense. Down to the curriculum, it's not cookie cutter. The children learn according to their educational needs.
