Casa Turano Parkside Pizza — Restaurant in Bloomfield

Im giving two stars because the food itself is good. But thats about it. I have ordered from here many times. It ALWAYS takes well over an hour to get your food and chances are something in the order will be wrong. We just ordered chicken francaise with pasta. Im aware from previous orders that they separate the chicken and the pasta and send you regular spaghetti with marinara sauce (although for the life of me I cant figure out how that would make any sense) so I stated in my order to please send the pasta with the same sauce as the chicken. Of course an hour and a half later we received chicken francaise and spaghetti with marinara sauce which is annoying when you are paying $16 for the plate. Our order was around $50. I called and they said they would send out a corrected order. We waited and waited and they never came with the correct food. Unfortunately, we are taking them off of our takeout list since every time there is an inconvenience. Theres too many other really good pizzerias in the area to have to keep...

I'm disappointed I have to even give 1 star to this place. I live 2 blocks from this place and it took me over an hour to receive my complete order. 40 minutes after placing my order the driver brings me just my pizza when I had ordered much more than that. The receipt showed I only ordered pizza. The driver said "well I don't know what to tell you. Call & ask them." I called back & they tell me my wings aren't done. But their going to bring me the rest of my order. I call back after waiting another half hour to check on the status of the rest of my order; that should have already been done by this point & sure enough it's still not on the way. I got told it was going to go out right there & then but to call back tomorrow to get a discount from Izzi the manager. After all this I'm still expected to pay full price. They bring me the rest of my order & it's still missing something. Sucks that the food tastes good but the service was absolute trash & handled extremely...

I don't eat out much but when I do, I like to get the same dish, the capellini ventimiglia. This is a very tasty dish. I am used to thinly sliced tender pieces of prosciutto, mushrooms, onions and a hearty addition of black olives. I ordered it today and It was noticeably different; so much so that I called the restaurant. The mushrooms and prosciutto were cut in large chunks, the light plum sauce was not so light and it was a tinge too salty. I asked if there was a new chef and the young lady who answered the phone confirmed that there has been a change in chefs. To bad for me. I liked the dish the way it had been prepared previously. This just isn't as good so I'll have to search for another go to dish. I think it is very nice of you to offer to make the dish again. I would like to try the dish again.
