The manager, David, was quite rude. Had he not been I would have been able to overlook the fact that a bottle of beer I was trying to purchase took about 5-6 times just to get the price. They scanned it and typed in codes, all of which weren't working. So, the manager, David, came over and told the checker to use a different bottle of beer for the price. The issue with that was, the code they entered was for a beer priced $1 more than the one I was trying to purchase. I was told that the beer I selected didn't have a price and that's why it was not in the system, which I found interesting as there was a price tag for the selected beer on the shelf. So, I walked over to where I got the beer and took a picture of the price tag. As I was walking back to the register, the manager, David, was walking toward the location of the beer. I offered my phone with the picture of the price and asked if it wasn't the price tag for the beer. He responded that he had to go check for himself and continued walking, without looking at my phone or trying to engage me whatsoever. He read the code to the checker over their walkie talkies and lo and behold, the proper price! I did not receive any kind of apology or concern at all for the inconvenience or rude demeanor from the manager, David. I think Binny's should seriously reconsider who they hire as the face of their brand. I understand that there can be issues, but how you handle the issue is of the utmost importance. And David exemplified one of the poorest examples of customer service I have experienced-- especially given his title. Just a note, the customers are always right whether you...
Read more11/11/24 around 6:30 ish my husband and I enter Binny's. I go to the tequila section looking for a tequila I wanted to try. And my husband head over to the scotch section because that's what he drinks. I noticed soon as we stepped in and went our separate ways we were being watched. It was all of 5 people in the store shopping. I find the tequila then I head over to the wine/Champagne because I study wine. Still being followed. I hear my husband call my name so I head over to where he was. I'm still being followed. I decided to put my tequila back on the shelf because I'm not purchasing anything from a place who didn't even come up and ask if you need help but will follow you through the store like you are going to steal. My husband get his items and we head to check out and the small talk in the line from one of the followers is just crazy. Saying little things like have you had this beer? Have you had this so on and so on. We will not be spending another dime in Binny's. We may not look like money but trust and believe we DO NOT need to steal anything. I'm just disgusted. I'm disappointed. I'm angry. Not to mention we were the only ones getting followed. Was it my hands in my pocket? Was it my small purse? or was it my hair? Or maybe because I was black? I was just a black lady wanting to spend some money on a tequila I wanted to try. I bet if they were to look at my history with Binny's they would feel really stupid. I'm done ranting. But I'm very highly upset. Signed the...
Read moreI don't go to Binny's often and in fact have only visited a couple times since their remodel. So going there this time I had ideas of what we were looking for but no clue where to find what I was looking for and attempted to use the guides for the isles but was still not having the best of luck. The staff there are incredibly helpful and nice. I interacted with 2 staff members and a cashier all who helped me find exactly what I was looking for in little to no time at all. I think I spent maybe 10-15 mins most inside and got all I was looking for and more. The cashier even kindly suggested a way to save money on my transaction which I had already went over budget so for me that was incredibly helpful. Overall I was so pleased with my visit and would def recommend this location for all your party or relaxation materials (liquor wise of course). I will most certainly be visiting again should I need anything just because of...
