Mobile Audio Plus — Local services in Bloomington

They installed my sound system and hard wired my radar detector. They clearly hooked something up wrong because they system fried my battery. They hooked up my radar wrong too because that fried. I even used the old cable to turn on the radar but it was fried. All of this happened a week and a half after they hooked it up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend some time and find somewhere else to go. I have a friend who got his system installed by them too. He wouldn't by a part through mobile audio, so when he brought the part back and installed it, they carved b*tch into his speaker box. My guess is that all the positive reviews were wrote by the guys who actually work at the shop. I spent $180 for the work but had $600 in damage. DO...

i live 2 hours away from mobile audio and decided i wanted to build a mid level sound quality setup in my new car.

no shops local to me wanted my business so i went online to find a shop.

was suggested to take a drive to mobile audio and discuss my ideas. 9 months later, i dropped my car off to them for my custom build.

returned to pick up my car and was excited from the first minute with the finished results.

i did have some equipment issues not related to them that came up 2 months late, they helped me over the phone to diagnose the issue and helped me at no charge getting my equipment back in the car when the components came back from the manufacturer.

I had them install sub woofer & amp, electronic security system, remote start, and radar detector on my 2000 Solara when it was new.

Product prices were okay. Service was great and reasonably priced.

They caused damage to the paint on the vehicle, 'fessed up right away, and told me to take it to whoever I wanted to have repair it -- no questions about how much it cost. It was a hassle, but I was impressed with the professional handling.

The warranty was for the life of the car. I went back recently to get the radar detector wiring adjusted. No charge.

I'm going back to have features added to another vehicle. I guess that's really the best test -- would I go back? ...
