This isn’t your typical local museum where a few relics are thrown on a shelf or hung on a wall, maybe, sometimes, with a small tag identifying the item but rarely anything to make them relatable.

I’ve been here 3 times in total and each time was a blast. I have a bit of an interest in history, so it was fun to find out some local history of the area. I was surprised to see one of those single-engine planes on one of the lower levels. That was a fun discovery.
Since I haven’t been there in awhile, I really don’t know what else to say about the museum. I’m sure the exhibits have changed since then so I don’t want to rattle on too much about stuff that might not be there anymore. It’s just one of those places that you need to...
Read moreHistorically historic. Be the light around there. Needs some good spirit around the area right around. Safe area and allot of art, great art around the area. Check the store fronts of of Market St especially. You can sit next to Abe Lincoln out front, which I think is pretty cool. Allot of history right around the Museum and respect for our military and veterans. The homeless around there are very kind and wouldn't mind telling you cool stuff about the area. They aren't your average people. Very friendly area. Be the light. They need it. Farmers Market days are awesome right around the Museum. Very well...
