Normandale Lake Bandshell — Attraction in Bloomington

There bandshell itself is great. Seating is pretty much in the grass on a hill so bring a blanket and/or a lawn chair. the mosquitos are bad, especially at dusk and Lake Normandale is a big swamp. Still nice to have a 1.8 mile walking trail though, so if you don't mind the occasional decaying smell of swamp at a couple spots along the trail or are just going to listen to music at the band shell and come prepared...
